High Quality: Audio is a pleasant surprise with a small air suspended high excursion speaker tuned for voice clarity. Reception is good because the AM/FM antennas are almost twice the size found commonly in emergency radios. The solar panel is almost twice the normal size, and the crank generator output is greater at 400mA with better magnets. UV resistant rubber perimeter with concave bottom makes it stable.
The 3400mAh lithium-ion battery is easily replaceable and will run the radio 35-50 hours depending on settings. There are five ways to power it: The included lithium-ion battery can be recharged by the wind-up hand crank, solar panel, your USB port & optional AC wall adapter (not included). When the radio is fully charged it can charge a low cell phone battery to 50%. Led flashlight has superior light output and color (CRI). Can also be powered by (3) “AA” alkaline batteries (not included).

Additional Features - Five memory Presets per band, lighted display, micro-USB input charging port, line-in jack, headphone jack, clock, alarm, sleep timer (120, 90, 60, 30, & 15 minutes), 1, 9, and 10kHz tuning.
