Standing approximately 6" tall, Greta features a new head sculpt with synthetic hair and comes with interchangeable hands, a pink boa, and the hormone potion
Your display shelf finally gets the chaotic centerpiece it deserves when you unbox this Greta figure. NECA has really leaned into the details here, moving beyond a standard plastic sculpt by incorporating actual synthetic hair for a much more lifelike, textured look. Standing at 6 inches, she feels substantial and comes packed with the specific nods fans crave, like the iconic pink boa and even the hormone potion. The inclusion of interchangeable hands allows for various posing options, making her more than just a static statue. Whether you are a die-hard Gremlins collector or just want a high-quality piece of cinematic nostalgia, the collector-friendly window-box packaging ensures she looks just as good in the box as she does on your desk.
Horror collectors often struggle to find pieces that bridge the gap between terrifying cinematic realism and playful, stylized aesthetics. The NECA Toony Terrors Regan figure solves this by reimagining the iconic protagonist from The Exorcist through an adorably creepy lens. Standing at a 6-inch scale, this officially licensed collectible packs a punch with its specific character details, including a swappable extra head and a hilarious, gross-out vomit accessory. I particularly love the thoughtful packaging design, which doubles as a backdrop for your display shelf. It is a specialized piece aimed at a mature audience, specifically rated for ages 17 and up, making it a perfect addition to a curated horror lineup without taking up massive amounts of desk space.
The striking visual of crimson blood streaming from under the mask immediately sets this Michael Myers figure apart from standard horror collectibles. This Toony Terrors edition reimagines the legendary slasher from Halloween 2 with a stylized, slightly exaggerated aesthetic that doesn't sacrifice the character's menacing essence. Standing at a versatile six inches, it fits perfectly on a crowded bookshelf or a workspace without taking up too much real estate. You get a solid suite of accessories including his signature knife and a Jack-O-Lantern to complete the spooky vibe. The diorama packaging is a thoughtful touch, offering a bonus cutout backdrop that turns the blister card into a miniature display scene right out of the box.
The NECA S.O.D. Sgt. D action figure brings a legendary satirical metal album cover to life with surprising tactile detail. Instead of a standard plastic sculpt, this 8-inch figure utilizes actual clothing to capture the gritty essence of the band's iconic character. It feels like a premium collector's piece rather than a standard toy, especially with the inclusion of a removable helmet and a detailed rifle accessory. Whether you are a hardcore metal fan or a dedicated figure collector, the transition from 2D album art to a physical, clothed character is executed with impressive accuracy. It stands as a unique centerpiece for any shelf, bridging the gap between music memorabilia and high-end toy design.
Serious kaiju collectors will find this Mothra figure to be an absolute centerpiece for their display shelves. NECA has done a phenomenal job capturing the specific aesthetic of the 2019 monster, ensuring the multicolor details match the on-screen appearance perfectly. The real standout feature is the articulated wings, which allow for much more dynamic posing than your standard static statue. I was particularly impressed that it includes a dedicated display base and a support rod, which lets you simulate those iconic in-air flight poses without worrying about the figure toppling over. It is a premium piece that balances screen accuracy with high-level playability and display potential.
Who knew a tiny, cosmic Groot could pack such a versatile punch in a single gift set? This NECA collection is a delightful deep dive into the charm of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, offering much more than just a standard figurine. The standout piece is the solar-powered body knocker, which brings a bit of movement to your desk without the constant hassle of hunting for replacement batteries. You also get two compact 2-inch scalers and a pair of earbuds featuring an impressively long 45-inch cord. It is a clever, themed bundle that manages to feel like a curated collection rather than a random assortment of trinkets, making it a standout choice for any fan looking to bring a bit of the galaxy home.
The NECA Toony Terrors Victor Crowley figure turns pure slasher dread into something unexpectedly adorable. As part of the fourth installment in this stylized series, this officially licensed collectible captures the essence of the Hatchet franchise through a unique, caricatured lens. You get the full Victor Crowley sculpt alongside his signature hatchet, making it a must-have for horror enthusiasts who prefer a whimsical aesthetic. I particularly love the clever packaging design, which doubles as a backdrop to create an instant display scene for your shelf. While it is strictly intended for collectors aged 17 and up, the level of detail in this 6-inch figure makes it a standout piece for any horror-themed collection.
Your display shelf finally gets the villainous centerpiece it deserves when you unbox this Ming the Merciless figure from the Defenders of the Earth series. I spent quite a bit of time swapping out the interchangeable hands and testing the articulation to see how he handles his array of weaponry. The standout feature is undoubtedly the real fabric cape, which adds a level of premium texture that plastic molded capes simply cannot match. Whether you are posing him with his staff or aiming the ray gun with its detachable laser effect, the sculpt holds up beautifully. Even the packaging is designed with collectors in mind, featuring a window box that keeps him looking pristine while on display.
Understanding the Distinction: Figures vs. Statues
Before diving into your purchase, it is vital to understand what you are actually buying. NECA often releases products that sit on the fence between an articulated action figure and a static statue. True statues in the NECA ecosystem are typically non-articulated, meaning they are frozen in a dynamic, cinematic pose. This makes them superior for display aesthetics, as you don't have to worry about 'shelf dive' or limbs sagging over time due to joint fatigue. When shopping, decide if you want a piece that you can pose yourself (action figure) or a piece that serves as a permanent, sculpted centerpiece (statue).
Material Composition and Sculpting Detail
NECA is renowned for its ability to capture the likeness of horror icons and cinematic legends. When evaluating a statue, look closely at the sculpt quality. High-quality pieces should feature fine textures—think of the weathered skin on a slasher villain or the intricate fabric patterns on a superhero's suit. Because these are often made from heavy-duty plastics or resins, check for any signs of 'seam lines' where the mold pieces met. A premium statue will have these seams sanded down or hidden within the natural folds of the character's clothing. The more seamless the sculpt, the higher the perceived value of the piece.
Scale and Display Compatibility
One of the biggest mistakes collectors make is ignoring scale. NECA produces items in various sizes, often catering to different display preferences. Some statues are designed to be small enough to fit on a crowded bookshelf, while others are intended to be the focal point of a dedicated display case. If you already own a collection of 7-inch articulated figures, look for statues that maintain a similar height ratio so your display looks cohesive. If you are buying a standalone piece, consider the footprint. A wide, dynamic pose might look incredible, but it will require significantly more shelf depth than a standard vertical figure.
The Importance of the Base and Stability
Since statues lack the internal joints of action figures, the base is their most critical structural component. A well-designed NECA statue will feature a themed base—perhaps cracked pavement for a street fight or a forest floor for a horror scene—that provides a low center of gravity. When reviewing a product, look for mentions of a weighted base. This prevents the statue from tipping over, which is essential for protecting the delicate sculpts of hands, weapons, or flowing capes. A statue that relies on a tiny, flimsy peg to stay upright is a risky investment for long-term display.
Collector Value and Packaging Integrity
Many NECA collectors view these pieces as long-term investments. Because many of their licenses are limited, certain statues can become highly sought after once they go out of print. If you are a 'mint in box' collector, pay close attention to the condition of the window box or packaging. NECA packaging is often quite stylized, featuring character art that is part of the overall aesthetic. If you plan to display the statue out of the box, the packaging matters less, but for those looking at future resale value, a pristine box is non-negotiable.

Quick answers about Neca Action Figure Statues before you buy.
While action figures feature articulation for posing, NECA statues are fixed-pose, highly detailed sculpts designed for display stability and intricate, cinematic accuracy.
Yes, though they are more delicate than articulated figures. They are ideal for collectors who prefer a 'museum-quality' look without the need to constantly adjust joints.
Space requirements vary by scale, but most premium statues require significant shelf depth and height compared to standard 7-inch action figures due to their dynamic bases.
Because they are made of high-quality resin or PVC with fine details, they can be brittle. It is recommended to avoid frequent handling and keep them out of direct sunlight.
Most statues are complete standalone pieces, often including a themed diorama base, but they typically do not include swappable hands or weapons like articulated figures do.
NECA statues generally follow cinematic scales, often ranging from 1/10 to 1/6 scale, depending on the specific franchise and character height.
Ensure they are placed on a level surface away from heat sources. High-quality NECA statues use weighted bases to prevent 'shelf dive' or leaning.
Absolutely. NECA is renowned for their horror licenses, offering some of the most screen-accurate, atmospheric statues for fans of classic and modern slashers.
