Best Michelangelo Action Figures in 2026

Nostalgia is often a blurry memory, but this Raphael figure brings the grit of the 1990 film into sharp, tactile focus. Most collectors expect a simple plastic shell, yet NECA manages to capture the specific aesthetic of that era in a way that feels more like a miniature movie prop than a standard toy. The scale and detail are clearly designed with an adult audience in mind, moving away from the chunky, simplified shapes of childhood playthings toward something much more sophisticated. Standing at a substantial height within its packaging, this piece serves as a centerpiece for any dedicated enthusiast looking to recreate the atmosphere of the original TMNT cinematic universe.

You might wonder if a modern reissue can truly capture the magic of a 1989 original, but this Raphael figure manages to bridge that gap perfectly. Standing at an impressive 12 inches tall, this isn't your average small-scale action figure. It is a commanding centerpiece for any collection. Playmates Toys nailed the authenticity here, utilizing sculpting and decoration that mirrors the classic aesthetic we remember from decades ago. The inclusion of his signature twin sai and the ability to pose his head, arms, and legs makes it much more than a static statue. Even the retro packaging, complete with vintage 1980s graphics, feels like a deliberate love letter to long-time fans rather than just a marketing gimmick.
