Reward success and milestones with our reverse-engraved 7.25" Round Cosmic Glass with Silver Base Award Plaque. This prestigious glass plaque offers a stylish modern look with custom reverse engraving.
Reverse-engraving is a process where the engraving is mirrored and done on the back of the award, so that it is viewable *through* the front side, rather than directly on it. The result is a beautiful and unique appearance. If you would prefer the engraving just placed directly on the front, just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate. These awards yield the best results with the reverse engraving.
Each 7.25" Round Cosmic Glass Plaque has a jade hue, and comes attached to the arched silver aluminum base, enabling it to sit flat on any surface. There are three round pads on the bottom of each foot to prevent surface scratching. Each unit comes packaged in a satin-lined gift box for safe storage, transport, and presentation.
Our team of professionals will make each piece one of a kind with our included engraving service. Choose from a variety of engraving design templates and provide the data to replace the example text shown for the design.

A Guide to Selecting the Best Ravanox Award Plaques
Evaluate Material Integrity and Weight
The first decision factor in selecting a high-quality plaque is the base material. Ravanox designs often utilize a blend of premium woods, acrylics, and metallic finishes. If you are looking to convey traditional authority and timelessness—such as for a lifetime achievement award—opt for solid wood bases with deep, rich grains. These provide a tactile sense of importance. Conversely, if the recognition is for a modern tech startup or a creative design achievement, acrylic or glass-style plaques offer a sleek, contemporary aesthetic that plays beautifully with light. Always consider the 'heft' of the item. A plaque that feels substantial in the hand is subconsciously perceived as more valuable by the recipient.
Consider the Visual Hierarchy of Design
A common mistake in award selection is choosing a design that is too busy, which detracts from the actual message. When browsing the selection, look for a clear visual hierarchy. The plaque should have a designated area for the primary recipient's name, a secondary area for the specific achievement, and a subtle area for the date or organization logo. High-contrast designs—such as gold lettering on a dark walnut background or silver etching on clear acrylic—ensure readability from a distance. Avoid designs with overly intricate borders if your engraving text is lengthy, as this can create visual clutter that makes the award difficult to interpret.
Matching Aesthetic to the Occasion
Context is everything when it comes to recognition. A plaque meant for a high-stakes corporate boardroom should lean toward understated elegance: think brushed metals, dark hardwoods, and minimalist lines. These designs blend seamlessly into professional environments without appearing ostentatious. On the other hand, sports awards or community service recognitions can afford to be more vibrant and expressive. For these categories, look for plaques that incorporate dynamic shapes or brighter metallic accents that celebrate energy and movement. Matching the 'vibe' of the award to the culture of the organization ensures the recipient feels the award was truly tailored to their specific journey.
Engraving Depth and Longevity
The most beautiful plaque becomes obsolete if the inscription fades or peels over time. When evaluating options, pay close attention to the method of personalization. Laser engraving that etches directly into the material is superior to surface-level printing, as it creates a permanent physical indentation that cannot be rubbed off. If you are selecting a metal-plate style plaque, ensure the plate is securely fastened to the base to prevent rattling or misalignment. A premium award should look as pristine ten years from now as it does on the day of the ceremony.
Final Recommendation Logic
To make your final choice, follow this logic: Start with the recipient's environment (Office vs. Home), then select the material (Wood for tradition, Acrylic for modernism), and finally, prioritize the legibility of the engraving. If you are purchasing in bulk for a large organization, consistency in design is key, but try to select a versatile base that can accommodate varying lengths of text without looking cramped.

Quick answers about Ravanox Award Plaques before you buy.
Most premium plaques utilize a combination of polished wood bases, brushed metal plates, and sometimes crystal or acrylic accents to provide a professional weight and finish.
Consider the significance of the achievement. Smaller plaques work well for monthly recognition, while larger, heavier wooden or glass plaques are better suited for annual or lifetime achievement honors.
Yes, most professional plaques are designed to be engraved or printed with custom text, including the recipient's name, the award title, and the date of presentation.
Standard wooden and metal plaques are designed for indoor office or home environments. For outdoor use, you should look for weather-resistant acrylic or specialized treated materials.
Engraving physically etches the design into the metal or wood for a permanent, tactile feel, whereas printing applies ink to the surface, allowing for more complex color gradients and photographic detail.
Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, especially on wooden bases or polished metal plates, as they can strip the finish.
Premium plaques generally feature heavier materials, seamless joins between the base and the plate, and deep, crisp engraving rather than shallow or blurry markings.
