The build quality punches above its weight class, featuring a machined aluminum spool and anodized aluminum side plates that provide a sturdy, classic feel. Even with a streamlined 2+1 ball bearing setup, the rotation remains remarkably quiet and smooth during both casting and retrieval. It is a specialized tool that prioritizes finesse and control over raw retrieval speed, making it a reliable companion for targeted freshwater sessions.
