Best Lyocell Bed Pillows in 2026

Adjustable pillows are often a case of being sold something that isn’t quite as advertised. With the Coop Home Goods Original Pillow, you have full control. Pull off the cover, and inside you'll find a combination of cross-cut memory foam and microfiber (coined Oomph fill) that you can scoop out in handfuls to decrease loft or add more to increase support. Depending on how you like to sleep (stomach, back, side) you’ll want to find the right height. Having the ability to adjust is critical. You’ll also appreciate the Lulltra cover that is nice and soft and breathable. There’s an extra bag of fill that comes along with it, so you’re not doomed to your first iteration of tinkering. The foam is newly made (not recycled) and comes with CertiPUR-US and GREENGUARD Gold certifications, so you’ve got that safety thing covered as well.

Can a pillow actually bridge the gap between cloud-like softness and necessary spinal alignment? The HIMOON Queen Size set attempts to solve this exact dilemma by utilizing a down-like microfiber filling that strikes a sophisticated balance between fluff and firm support. During testing, the high loft prevented the head from sinking too deep into the mattress, which is a common frustration for side and back sleepers alike. The 100% microfiber covers feel remarkably skin-friendly and contribute to a cooling sensation throughout the night. Because the core is CertiPUR-US and GREENGUARD Gold certified, you can rest easy knowing there is no peculiar chemical odor or irritation. It is easy to dismiss high-priced bamboo bedding as mere marketing hype, but BAMPURE actually delivers on that silky promise. After testing these, the first thing you notice is the sateen weave, which feels even more substantial and smooth than high-end Egyptian cotton. Because they use chemical-free bamboo viscose, they have this incredible breathability that makes them a lifesaver for hot sleepers during the summer, while still feeling cozy when the temperature drops. The standout feature is the 2-inch gusset that acts as a backbone, ensuring the microfiber fill stays evenly distributed rather than collapsing under your weight. I found the pillow-in-pillow construction offers a rare balance of plush comfort and genuine support. Because the outer cover uses a breathable cotton percale weave, it manages airflow effectively to prevent that common midnight heat buildup. It is also incredibly low-maintenance. The material is surprisingly durable, getting even softer with each wash rather than pilling or fading. Plus, the deep pockets on the fitted sheet make securing it to a thick mattress a breeze, while the built-in head and foot tags take the guesswork out of making the bed.
