Best Summer Bed Throws in 2026

Standard fleece throws often leave you feeling either too cold or too scratchy, but the Genteele Sherpa Blanket solves the dilemma of finding true warmth without sacrificing texture. I found the dual-sided design to be its strongest asset. You can flip between a velvety microfiber cashmere side for lightweight warmth and a faux sheepskin side for that heavy, upscale snuggle feeling. At 60 x 70 inches, it is the ideal size for draping over a sofa or tucking into bed for a winter nap. Maintenance is surprisingly low-stress since it handles a cold delicate wash and low tumble dry without the usual issues of pilling or shedding that plague cheaper alternatives. It is a reliable, plush upgrade for anyone looking to level up their couch lounging experience.

The Genteele Sherpa Blanket is an absolute essential for anyone who treats couch lounging as a high-stakes professional sport. I was immediately struck by the dual-texture design, which offers two distinct ways to stay cozy. You can flip to the microfiber cashmere side for a velvety, sleek warmth, or nestle into the faux sheepskin side for that heavy, upscale plushness. It feels significantly more premium than your standard fleece throw, making it perfect for winter naps or marathon TV sessions. Maintenance is surprisingly low-stress, too. A quick cold delicate wash and a low tumble dry keep it looking fresh without worrying about pilling or shedding. It is the kind of reliable, fuzzy luxury that makes you want to stay indoors all day.

Curling up on the sofa for a rainy Sunday movie marathon requires a level of coziness that most standard fleece throws simply cannot deliver. The Genteele Sherpa Blanket bridges that gap by offering two distinct textures in one piece. I found that flipping to the microfiber cashmere side provides a velvety, sleek warmth, while the faux sheepskin side offers a much more substantial, upscale plushness. It is surprisingly easy to maintain, too. A quick cold wash on a delicate cycle keeps the fabric from pilling or shedding. Whether you are layering it on a bed or using it for a quick nap, the weight and softness make it feel like a genuine luxury upgrade for your living room.
