Traditional wicker baskets are actually a liability once you step outside, as they tend to splinter and soak up moisture like a sponge. The Colorbasket handlebar basket solves this by using a hand-woven, solid polypropylene synthetic cord that feels soft to the touch but remains incredibly sturdy. I was particularly impressed by the genuine leather straps. They provide a level of security that cheap plastic fasteners just can't match, ensuring the basket stays snug against your handlebars even when loaded up.
