After weeks of use in our home dojo, these Sanabul Sticker Bomb gloves have proven that martial arts gear doesn't have to look boring to be effective. We were initially drawn to the vibrant Roar Rage art style, but the real value lies in how they protect developing hands. The Impact Protection Foam is substantial enough to absorb heavy hits, which is vital since kids' bones are still growing. I was particularly impressed by the reinforced hook and loop closure. It provides the kind of wrist stability that prevents injury when a child's technique isn't quite perfect yet. Maintenance is also a breeze, as a quick wipe with soapy water keeps the vinyl looking fresh despite the inevitable sweat and grime from intense training sessions.

A young athlete's first heavy bag session requires gear that protects developing joints without feeling bulky or cumbersome. The Maya Hide leather construction is a standout, offering a durable barrier against the inevitable cracks and tears that come with intense Muay Thai or kickboxing training. I particularly like the tactical perforated holes in the palms. They facilitate much-needed ventilation to prevent sweaty, uncomfortable hands during long drills. Between the child-friendly hook-and-loop straps for quick transitions and the integrated thumb support for safety, these are a reliable choice for kids aged 6 to 12 looking to sharpen their speed and accuracy.
