Best Scented Candles in 2026

Most people settle for paraffin-heavy candles that fill a room with synthetic soot, but the GoodLight Fig Grapefruit tin offers a much cleaner alternative. I was particularly impressed by how the pure essential and botanical oils create a sophisticated aroma without any chemical additives. Because it uses 100% plant-based palm wax and metal-free cotton wicks, the burn feels remarkably steady and intentional. The 6 oz. tin is the perfect size for a desk or bedside table, providing up to 30 hours of fragrance. It is rare to find a candle at this price point that balances sustainability—supporting responsible palm oil farming—with such a high-quality, vegan scent profile.

Because it avoids paraffin, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances, the burn feels incredibly clean rather than heavy or artificial. The lead-free cotton wick ensures a steady flame, making it a reliable companion for home ambiance or travel. Even the ethical side matters here, as the brand supports sustainable palm oil farming, giving you peace of mind alongside a refreshing scent profile.
