After weeks of use, the sheer level of detail provided by this 8MP setup has completely changed how I monitor my property. Most security footage looks like a blurry mess when you try to zoom in, but the 4K Ultra HD resolution here keeps everything crisp and clear even during digital magnification. Setting it up was surprisingly painless because the PoE system allows you to run power and data through a single cable, reaching up to 330ft. I particularly appreciate the smart detection. Instead of my phone blowing up every time a shadow moves or a stray cat wanders by, the system intelligently filters for actual people and vehicles. With the pre-installed 4TB hard drive, I never have to worry about missing a moment of the 24/7 continuous recording.
