Best Left Door Knobs in 2026

Homeowners obsessed with period-accurate aesthetics will find this Grandeur double dummy knob to be the missing piece in their historical renovation projects. This isn't your standard hardware store find. It is a premium offering from Nostalgic Warehouse that brings genuine character to interior doors. The timeless bronze finish paired with the classic Windsor knob design provides a substantial, high-end feel that elevates the entire room. Because these are designed for doors that only require a push or pull function, they are incredibly straightforward to integrate into your space. You won't need a professional locksmith or a complex toolkit to get these mounted, as a simple screwdriver is all it takes to secure them directly to the door. It is a seamless way to add architectural weight without the hassle of complex mechanical installation.

The Grandeur Fifth Avenue Combo Pack is a masterclass in period-correct elegance, defined by its stunning vintage brass finish. This Nostalgic Warehouse set transforms a standard entryway into a historical centerpiece with its sophisticated Fifth Avenue knob and matching deadbolt. I was particularly impressed by how much character it adds without requiring a professional locksmith. You can handle the installation with just a standard screwdriver. It fits doors ranging from 1-3/4 to 2-3/4 inches thick, making it a versatile choice for classic home renovations. While the premium price reflects its high-end positioning, the included 10-year mechanical and finish warranty provides significant peace of mind for a long-term investment in your home's curb appeal.

Architects designing high-ceilinged entryways require this specific hardware to prevent their grand doors from looking disproportionately small. The Grandeur Arc Tall Plate Baguette is a masterclass in scale, specifically engineered for doors 84 inches or higher where standard plates often fall short visually. I was immediately struck by the weight and substance of the solid, forged brass construction, which feels incredibly premium in the hand. The Timeless Bronze finish provides a sophisticated, aged aesthetic that anchors a room without being ostentatious. While you will need to source your own latch since this is a double dummy set, the inclusion of a drilling template and all necessary mounting hardware makes the installation process surprisingly straightforward for a piece of this caliber.

The Grandeur Fifth Avenue One-Piece Handleset brings an unmatched sense of scale to oversized entryways through its impressive solid forged brass construction. I found this set to be the perfect solution for those massive 84-inch plus doors where standard hardware often looks tiny and out of proportion. Since this is a dummy entry set designed for the nonfunctional side of double doors, you don't have to worry about complex internal mechanisms or locking hardware. The C-grip and Biarritz knob combo feels incredibly substantial in your hand, signaling high-end quality immediately. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included drilling template and mounting hardware, making it a seamless upgrade for anyone looking to add a touch of lifetime durability to their home's curb appeal.

Most people assume door hardware is just a functional afterthought, but this Grandeur set proves that a single knob can act as the jewelry of a room. The Chambord crystal knob catches the light beautifully, transforming a standard interior door into a focal point of elegance. Since these are double dummy knobs designed for simple push or pull functions, they bypass the mechanical complexity of traditional latches entirely. I found the installation process incredibly straightforward. You really only need a screwdriver to mount them directly to the door. It is a high-end touch from the Nostalgic Warehouse collection that brings a sense of historical luxury to modern home improvement projects without requiring a professional locksmith.

Your grand double entry doors finally get the architectural scale they deserve with this Grandeur hardware set. I specifically looked at this for oversized installations, and it is a game-changer for doors standing 84 inches or taller where standard plates often look undersized and cheap. The solid, forged brass construction gives it a substantial, heavy-duty feel that communicates luxury the moment you touch it. Since this is a dummy entry set, it functions perfectly as the nonfunctional side of a double door, providing that essential aesthetic symmetry without the need for complex internal locking mechanisms. The vintage brass finish looks timeless, and the included drilling template makes the installation process much less intimidating than typical high-end hardware installs.

Most homeowners assume a standard handleset is sufficient for any entryway, but an oversized door can make even high-end hardware look strangely diminutive and out of scale. The Grandeur Carre' One-Piece Handleset solves this visual imbalance specifically for doors standing 84 inches or taller. Because it is forged from solid brass rather than hollowed alloys, the weight and tactile feedback feel incredibly substantial when you use the D Grip and Soleil knob. The Antique Pewter finish offers a sophisticated, designer aesthetic that avoids the clinical look of modern chrome. Installation is surprisingly straightforward since the kit includes a dedicated drilling template and all necessary mounting hardware, ensuring the 2.375" backset aligns perfectly without the usual guesswork.
