Fumbling with microscopic eyelets in the dim light of dawn is a frustration every angler knows too well. I found that it takes the guesswork out of rigging, whether you are working with fluorocarbon, mono, or tiny treble hooks. It is an impressively versatile piece of gear that acts as a threading aid, knot tier, and line cutter all at once. The ergonomic design holds up beautifully even when the boat is rocking in choppy water or your hands are numb from the cold. Knowing this is a hand-assembled, USA-made tool from a small family business gives you a level of confidence that mass-produced plastic gadgets just can't match.

I was impressed by the combination of light-reflecting rainbow skin and glow beads, which mimic the natural shimmer of fish scales to trigger strikes from mackerel and herring.
