The removable paracord handle offers a secure, non-slip grip, while the integrated finger ring and front pommel add a layer of safety during intense use. Even the spine of the blade is functional, featuring double serrations that make slicing through rope a breeze. It is a versatile, rugged tool that feels much more expensive than its price point suggests.

The textured TPE rubber on this handle feels remarkably secure in your palm, even when your hands are damp from a day of fishing or hiking. This GVDV fixed blade isn't just a lightweight tool. I was particularly impressed by the titanium-plated finish, which adds a much-needed layer of protection against rust and wear during rugged outdoor use. At just over 6 ounces, it strikes a perfect balance between being easy to carry on a belt and having enough heft for survival tasks.
