Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Franklin Iron Works Floor Lamps before you buy.
Yes, these lamps are typically constructed with high-quality metal components and weighted bases, making them durable enough for high-traffic living areas and offices.
Most models do not include bulbs, as manufacturers prefer to let users choose their preferred color temperature and brightness levels. Check specific product descriptions to confirm.
They are primarily designed for ambient and task lighting. Depending on the shade material—such as fabric or metal—they can provide either soft, diffused light or more focused, directional illumination.
While the metallic finishes are designed for longevity, they can be susceptible to scratches if cleaned with abrasive materials. We recommend using a soft, dry microfiber cloth for maintenance.
Absolutely. Since most of these lamps use standard socket types, you can easily install smart bulbs to control brightness and color via voice commands or smartphone apps.
Because these lamps often feature sturdy, decorative bases for stability, they tend to have a slightly larger footprint than minimalist modern lamps. Always measure your floor space before purchasing.
Most models feature a modular design that allows for straightforward assembly, usually requiring only the attachment of the pole sections and the shade assembly.
