The 7th Continent Classic Edition delivers an unparalleled sense of discovery through its massive, evolving world. This isn't just another board game. It is a deep dive into a survival adventure that feels like a high-stakes evolution of the classic adventure books we obsessed over as kids. Whether you are tackling the continent solo or coordinating a survival strategy with up to four players, the experience remains incredibly fresh. Because the game utilizes dozens of random events and alternative maps, you won't find yourself repeating the same loop. Instead, every session uncovers something new, offering dozens of hours of exploration that keep the tension high and the sense of mystery alive in every corner of the map.

Your expedition across the mysterious Continent just took a sharp, unpredictable turn as the haunting melody of The Crystal's Song begins to echo through your camp. This expansion from Serious Poulp is designed to fundamentally shift the stakes of your journey, offering a modular difficulty curve that caters to every type of explorer. You might find yourself leaning into the Prodigy mode for a smoother survival experience or the Immortal mode to bypass the threat of death entirely. However, the real tension emerges when you engage the Hardcore or Traitor modes, which ramp up the pressure and force much more calculated decision-making. Whether you want to make your discovery easier or significantly more punishing, this addition ensures your next playthrough feels entirely fresh.

A thick stack of 96 fresh, mysterious cards awaits your discovery the moment you break the seal on this expansion. The Forbidden Sanctuary injects a brand-new curse into your ongoing journey, fundamentally shifting the stakes for your exploration team. Since this is a dedicated expansion, you must already own the Core Box to dive into this specific narrative arc. It isn't just a minor add-on. It provides a substantial new layer of gameplay that keeps the sense of peril alive and the storytelling evolving. If you have already spent hours navigating the perils of the original game, this expansion feels like a necessary evolution to prevent the experience from becoming predictable.

The smallest expansions often carry the heaviest weight in a tabletop campaign. While this mini-expansion from Serious Poulp might seem modest with just 30 cards, it serves as a grueling test of character for anyone navigating the world of The 7th Continent. You aren't just adding content. You are adding a layer of moral and physical difficulty that forces you to decide if you are truly strong enough to achieve repentance. It is a compact injection of tension designed to stretch your survival skills to the limit. Just keep in mind that you cannot play this in a vacuum, as the core box is an absolute requirement to unlock this specific path of struggle.

The Icy Maze expansion offers a brutal, frozen challenge that puts standard tabletop adventures to shame. Instead of the predictable paths found in most exploration games, this Serious Poulp release plunges you into a chilling new curse that demands genuine survival instincts. You will navigate through uncharted, frost-bitten territories, constantly questioning if the silence of the tundra is truly empty or if something predatory is watching from the shadows. With 96 new cards to deepen the experience, the sense of isolation and discovery feels incredibly tactile. Just remember that you cannot dive into this frozen wasteland alone. You absolutely need the original Core Box to unlock these new mechanics and lands. It is a high-stakes addition for anyone looking to test their mettle against the cold.

Cluttered tabletops and sliding game components can quickly break the immersion of a deep exploration game. This official Serious Poulp playmat solves that problem by providing a dedicated, stylish surface designed specifically for your journey to the Continent. It acts as a protective layer for your game pieces while elevating the overall aesthetic of your gaming setup. While the mat arrives folded in a deep box, any minor creases from transit are largely minimized by the packaging depth. It is a practical, essential accessory for anyone looking to keep their tabletop organized and their adventure feeling premium every time they play.

Can your survival skills withstand a sudden tornado or a blistering heatwave? Serious Poulp’s Facing The Elements expansion injects a much-needed layer of environmental chaos into your exploration journey. This isn't a standalone game, so make sure you have your core box ready before diving into these new challenges. The expansion adds significant tension through forty new cards and five cardboard figures supported by plastic stands, forcing players to adapt to unpredictable weather patterns like snowstorms and scorching heat. It transforms the tabletop experience from a simple trek into a desperate struggle against nature itself. If you enjoy testing your luck against the whims of the world around you, this addition makes every move feel significantly more consequential and high-stakes.

After weeks of exploring the uncharted lands of the base game, the Forgotten Passages expansion feels like a necessary breath of fresh air for any seasoned adventurer. Serious Poulp has managed to significantly deepen the experience by introducing three brand-new explorers to lead your expeditions. The sheer volume of content is impressive, packing 115 cards into the box, including 61 new adventure cards and 33 exploration cards that keep the mystery alive. You also get 18 new action cards and three character standees to help visualize your journey. Just keep in mind that this is strictly an expansion, so you will need the core box to actually set sail. It is a fantastic way to extend the life of your campaign with fresh mechanics and new paths to discover.

Explorers who feel they have already mastered the mysteries of the Continent will find themselves utterly disoriented by the Veins of the Earth expansion. This addition introduces a claustrophobic, high-stakes layer to your gameplay by dragging your party into a subterranean network of serpentine waterways. You aren't just wandering anymore. You are fighting against a relentless current that pulls you deeper into the bowels of the earth. The mechanics force you to manage limited actions while navigating this new curse, adding a desperate sense of urgency to your quest to defeat the consuming evil. Just remember that you cannot dive into these depths without owning the original core box first, as this set focuses entirely on expanding the existing world through its 149 new cards and specialized barge standee.

You might wonder if adding another layer of complexity to an already dense survival game is actually worth the shelf space, but A Prison of Clouds delivers a much-needed aerial shift to the experience. Instead of trekking through the brush, you are suddenly navigating the skies in a hot air balloon, trying to outrun hunger and punishing headwinds. This expansion introduces a fresh curse that fundamentally changes how you interact with the map, forcing you to manage confinement while searching for salvation. It is a compact but punchy addition, coming with 169 new cards, dividers, and a dedicated balloon standee to bring the verticality to life. Just remember that you cannot dive into these clouds without owning the original core box first.

The Flying Roots expansion is a must-have addition for anyone already lost in the mysterious world of The 7th Continent. This specific pack introduces a bizarre new ecological threat: sentient plants that tear themselves from the earth to wander the landscape. It adds a layer of unpredictable tension to your exploration, forcing you to decide whether to flee these mobile botanical terrors or take the time to research and harness their unique properties for your survival. The expansion comes neatly packaged with 40 new cards and 6 specialized standees to represent the roots. Just keep in mind that you cannot play this content in isolation. You absolutely need the core box to experience these strange phenomena.

Serious Poulp's Fear The Devourers expansion injects a sudden, predatory tension into your tabletop exploration that makes the core game feel significantly more dangerous. This isn't a standalone experience, so ensure you have your base set ready before adding these terrifying beasts to your journey. The inclusion of seven Rock Worm standees and thirty specialized cards transforms the Continent from a place of mere discovery into a high-stakes survival mission. Once these insatiable creatures catch your scent, they will hunt you relentlessly, erupting from the ground to disrupt your progress at the most unexpected moments. It is a compact but high-impact addition that effectively raises the difficulty ceiling for seasoned explorers looking for a more visceral challenge.
