Best French Horizontal Window Blinds in 2026

Homeowners with French doors are tired of watching their decorative blinds get bent or banged every time the door slams shut. This ODL solution solves that headache by tucking the shades securely behind tempered safety glass, making them virtually immune to the usual wear and tear of high-traffic entryways. I love how the fingertip controls allow you to adjust light and privacy via levers along the frame, which completely eliminates those dangerous dangling cords that worry parents and pet owners. Installation is a straightforward DIY project for existing glass, though you must be incredibly precise with your measurements—specifically checking for a 22" x 66" outer frame. It is a smart, low-maintenance upgrade that keeps your view clean and your blinds protected.
