Most horse owners settle for thin, flimsy covers that leak at the first sign of a storm, but the Challenger 1200D turnout blanket is built to actually hold the line against winter weather. I was impressed by the rugged 1200 denier rip-stop outer shell, which feels incredibly durable against brambles and wind. The 400 grams of poly fill provides substantial warmth without feeling overly bulky, and the breathable design ensures your horse stays dry rather than sweating under the fabric.
