I was particularly impressed by the low-pile nylon construction. It feels soft enough for crawling babies but is durable enough to withstand jumping and rolling without shedding. The latex rubber backing provides a much-needed non-slip grip on wooden floors, which is a huge relief when kids are running around. Whether you are outfitting a nursery or a busy preschool classroom, this rug manages to be both a functional teaching tool and a stylish piece of decor that is easy to maintain through simple vacuuming.
