Best Multicolor Kits in 2026

Kamen Rider Kiva's Kiva Form finally gets the Figure-rise Standard treatment, and it's the kind of kit that rewards both builders and shelf-display collectors. Bandai Spirits engineered this as a proper model kit rather than a static figurine, so the build itself is part of the appeal — you're assembling a stylized Kiva rather than unboxing one. The sculpt leans into the character's gothic armor silhouette and monster-king flair, which is exactly what fans of the series want to see captured in plastic. One detail worth flagging: the box carries the Bandai Namco warning label, and that's your assurance you're holding a genuine, officially licensed Bandai Spirits release instead of a counterfeit. For collectors building out a Kamen Rider shelf, this is a satisfying, display-ready addition.

Kuuga Ultimate Form gets a proper Figure-Rise Standard kit, and it's a satisfying one to put together. The build is the appeal here: you're working through a recognizable silhouette of Kamen Rider Kuuga's final form piece by piece, and the finished figure has the presence you want from a display piece on a shelf or desk. Everything arrives in the standard Bandai Hobby packaging with the Bandai Namco warning label, which is the easy way to confirm you're holding an officially licensed kit and not a knockoff. It's a project rather than an instant-gratification purchase, so plan on an evening or two with it, and expect a short wait before it ships. For Kamen Rider fans and model builders who like their hobby with a bit of assembly, this one delivers.

Hand a kid a box of 175-plus parts and watch what happens — that's the appeal of this clear four-cylinder engine kit. Once it's assembled, you drop in three AA batteries and press start, and the whole thing comes alive: pistons pumping, valves opening and closing, gears turning in plain sight. The transparent housing is the smart part here, because it turns an abstract lesson about combustion timing into something you can actually watch move. Tools and illustrated instructions are included, along with a learning guide that gives the build some structure instead of leaving kids to guess. Expect a project that eats an afternoon rather than a quick ten-minute distraction, and expect some adult help with the trickier fittings for younger builders. It's hands-on engineering that earns its shelf space.

The RG Gundam Epyon is the rare kit where the gimmick and the build quality actually reinforce each other. Because Epyon transforms, the Real Grade treatment could have meant a floppy, compromised frame — instead the newly designed articulation is tuned specifically around swinging that Beam Sword, so the shoulders and torso hold big, natural-looking poses without fighting you. The wyvern motif is worked into the panel lines and proportions rather than slapped on, which gives the finished kit a much more aggressive silhouette than a straight anime translation would. The Heat Rod is the sleeper feature: Advanced MS Joints let you coil it into spiraling poses instead of leaving it hanging stiffly. Check for the Bandai Namco warning label on the box to confirm you're getting the officially licensed release — counterfeit kits in this scale are a real headache.

Articulation is where this Nightwing build earns its shelf space — 44 points of movement let you settle him into the low, coiled crouch that actually suits the character instead of a stiff museum stance. Assembly is genuinely low-stress: 100 pieces snap together with no glue, paint, or cutters, so a single afternoon gets you a figure just under six inches tall with sharp, collector-grade detailing. Six swappable hands and both the short and long Escrima Sticks give you real display options, and the sticks mount across his back when you want the battle-ready silhouette. Officially licensed and rated for ages 14 and up, it's a build project that ends in something worth posing.
