Best Zkee Lanterns in 2026

After weeks of use on several backcountry trips, the Black Diamond Moji Lantern has become a reliable staple in my gear kit. The frosted globe is a standout feature, diffusing light beautifully to prevent that harsh, blinding glare common in cheaper LED lamps. Instead of uneven hotspots, you get a soft, ambient glow that fills a tent perfectly. I particularly value the versatility of the lighting modes. The dimming switch allows for a cozy reading light, while the strobe setting provides a functional emergency option. Hanging it is effortless thanks to the integrated double-hook loop, which ensures it stays secure even if the wind picks up outside the tent. At this price point, it offers a level of light quality that makes campsite tasks much easier.

Picture your campsite plunging into total darkness after the sun dips behind the ridge, leaving you scrambling for a reliable light source. The Black Diamond Apollo Lantern solves this immediately with its QuadPower LED system, which pushes out a crisp 250 lumens through a diffuser globe to prevent that harsh, blinding glare common in cheaper models. I found the versatility particularly impressive. You can rely on the high-capacity internal lithium-ion battery for long treks or swap in three AA batteries if you're off the grid for an extended period. The integrated USB port is a lifesaver for topping off your phone, and the dimming function allows you to transition from bright task lighting to a soft ambient glow effortlessly. It is a rugged, thoughtful piece of gear for any serious outdoor setup.

Setting up a campsite just as the sun dips below the treeline requires gear that transitions as quickly as your needs do. The Black Diamond Zip Lantern is a versatile powerhouse that solves the problem of carrying multiple light sources. I found the frosted globe design perfect for casting a soft, 150-lumen ambient glow across a dinner table, while the dedicated 100-lumen LED at the base provides a sharp, precise beam when you need to navigate a trail. Switching between lantern, flashlight, and dimming modes is incredibly intuitive thanks to the single-switch interface. Even better, the collapsible top hang loop makes it easy to clip to a pack, and the power button lock ensures you won't accidentally drain your battery in your sleeping bag.

Most campers settle for flimsy, disposable flashlights that die right when the sun goes down, but the Black Diamond Volt Lantern provides a much more reliable sense of security. I found the 250-lumen output to be the perfect sweet spot for illuminating a tent or a campsite without feeling blindingly harsh. The denim colorway is a nice aesthetic touch, but the real utility lies in the versatility. You can stand it on a flat surface or hang it from a gear loop. Having a USB port that handles both charging in and out is a massive win for long trips where power is scarce. Plus, the lock mode ensures you won't accidentally drain your battery in your pack, and the dimming options allow you to transition from a bright work light to a soft ambient glow effortlessly.
