Best Grey Laundry Hampers in 2026

The soft, tactile texture of the cotton thread rope immediately sets this basket apart from the harsh plastic bins typically found in laundry rooms. Standing nearly twenty inches tall, the INDRESSME hamper offers a substantial capacity that can easily swallow a week's worth of clothing or a stack of cozy blankets. I found the design incredibly versatile. It transitions seamlessly from a functional laundry tool to an elegant decorative piece in a living room or nursery. Because the handles are crafted entirely from rope without any metal or plastic components, it feels exceptionally safe to use around toddlers and pets. While it arrives folded, a quick session of filling it with towels or a light steam will smooth out those initial creases to reveal its intended, elegant shape.

Most people assume a large laundry hamper needs to be a heavy, rigid plastic bin, but the INDRESSME woven rope basket proves that soft textures actually work better for a busy household. I found that the rope construction is a total game-changer for nurseries and bedrooms because it lacks the sharp edges of traditional wicker that tend to snag delicate clothing or scratch tiny fingers. At 57 liters, it is surprisingly roomy enough to swallow up a yoga mat or a mountain of stuffed animals, yet the dual side handles make it easy to lug from the bedroom to the laundry room. Since it arrives folded, you just need to stuff it with blankets to restore its elegant shape, and the ability to fold it flat for storage is a massive plus for small spaces.

Most people assume a laundry hamper is just a plastic bin destined for the laundry room, but this INDRESSME woven basket functions more like a piece of intentional home decor. The tall, slim silhouette is a clever way to reclaim dead space in a bedroom corner or behind a door without sacrificing storage capacity. I found the cotton rope material surprisingly sturdy. It holds its shape well enough to look elegant while remaining soft enough to ensure you won't scratch your floors or hands. The double-stitched handles are a standout feature, providing a secure grip even when you've stuffed it full of heavy blankets or towels. While it arrives folded, a quick session of filling it with linens or a light steam makes it look perfectly polished in any living space.

Tucking a mountain of unfolded towels and bulky blankets into a tight corner of the bathroom becomes effortless with this slim, tall storage solution. I found that the INDRESSME basket excels at reclaiming wasted floor space, especially since its narrow footprint allows it to slide easily behind a door or into a small nook. The cotton rope construction feels incredibly soft to the touch, ensuring you won't scratch your hands or scuff your hardwood floors while moving it around. Even when loaded down with heavy linens, the double-stitched handles remain sturdy and comfortable to grip. While it arrives folded, a quick session of filling it with pillows or a light steam helps it regain that elegant, upright shape that makes it look like a deliberate piece of farmhouse decor rather than just a utility item.

You might assume a soft rope basket would collapse under the weight of a week's worth of laundry, but this INDRESSME hamper actually holds its shape remarkably well. The tall, slim oval design is a lifesaver for small apartments because it tucks neatly into corners or behind doors without looking like a bulky eyesore. I found the cotton rope material to be incredibly soft, making it a safe choice for nurseries or pet areas where sharp wicker edges might be an issue. The double-stitched handles are thick and comfortable, so you won't dig your fingers into the material when hauling heavy blankets or towels. Just a heads-up: it arrives folded, so you'll want to stuff it with linens or give it a quick steam to smooth out those shipping creases.

The INDRESSME Tall Laundry Hamper is a masterclass in blending functional storage with soft, modern aesthetics. Unlike rigid plastic bins that feel out of place in a styled living room, this grey cotton thread rope basket adds a cozy, textured element to your decor. I found the 19.7-inch height particularly impressive. It holds a full week of laundry or a mountain of plush blankets without looking bulky. The integrated handles are a standout safety feature, as they lack any sharp metal or plastic components, making the basket perfectly safe to move around curious toddlers or pets. While it arrives folded, a quick session of filling it with towels or a light steam helps it regain its elegant, upright shape almost immediately.
