Best Grey Laundry Hampers in 2026

Living in a cramped dorm or a tiny apartment often means fighting a losing battle against bulky, plastic laundry bins that hog precious floor space. The Larpur Popup Mesh Laundry Basket solves this by offering a massive 21-gallon capacity that collapses down to a mere 7.8 inches when the chores are done. I was impressed by the build quality. The galvanized steel frame feels much sturdier than typical popups, and the double-stitched nylon handles actually feel like they can handle a heavy load. The high-density mesh is a lifesaver for preventing that musty smell because it allows constant airflow. Plus, the extra side pocket is a clever touch for tucking away detergent or even a book while you're relaxing.
