The trailing shield is designed for when the mower moving forward only. Pushing the mower backwards when the trailing shield is installed will likely get damaged or broken by the blades inside. To maintain it service life, it is recommended to push the mower only forwards when the shield is installed on.
The product is easy to install, but does not include any screws, please keep the original installation screws before purchase. Tip: The shield works best when the mower is kept at D or higher. It's more likely to get stuck at lower deck heights.
