🌱 La Voz was created by a handful of families in the late 1970s. The law dictated that the cooperative have a minimum of 25 people, hence each farmer registered their wife to meet the quota. They were determined to improve their quality of life and began embracing organic principles. La Voz became certified Organic in 1993, and today has at least 161 members, 61 of whom are women.
