Best Loose Maternity Pants in 2026

Wide-leg denim that actually carries you from first trimester through the fourth is rarer than it should be, and these maternity jeans pull it off with a fabric blend that earns its keep. The 77% cotton, 21% polyester, 2% spandex mix feels soft against skin while holding its shape, so you're not tugging them up every ten minutes. The high-waisted elastic full-panel wraps the belly and lower back with gentle, even pressure, and it keeps working postpartum when you still want that support without the maternity fit screaming from across the room. Four pockets — two front, two back — mean your phone and keys travel with you, and the loose leg drapes in a way that reads relaxed rather than sloppy. In dark blue, they're an easy rotation piece for work, errands, or a slow afternoon in the park.

The Dokotoo Distressed Denim Joggers are the ultimate solution for anyone tired of stiff, restrictive denim that ruins a relaxed weekend vibe. These pants ditch the traditional button-and-zip struggle for a much more forgiving drawstring closure and a comfortable mid-rise fit. I found the lightweight denim surprisingly breathable and soft against the skin, making them feel less like heavy workwear and more like a casual lounge staple. The ripped, distressed detailing gives them an edgy, boyfriend-style aesthetic, while the ankle length makes them incredibly easy to style with everything from chunky boots to simple sneakers. Whether you are heading to the beach or just running errands, these joggers maintain their shape without feeling suffocating.

Finding that perfect balance between Y2K streetwear aesthetics and actual all-day comfort can feel like an impossible hunt. These Franhais baggy denim pants bridge that gap by blending a heavy-duty cargo look with a surprisingly soft fabric blend. I love how the wide-leg silhouette and side pockets lean into the oversized boyfriend style, making them effortless to pair with anything from a simple cami to chunky sneakers. Whether you are hitting the streets for a shopping trip or just lounging, the breathable material ensures you don't feel overheated while maintaining that trendy, relaxed edge.

YUNDAN has carved out a specific niche for women seeking the look of classic indigo denim without the restrictive stiffness of traditional jeans. These plus-size trousers bridge the gap between casual streetwear and activewear by utilizing a moisture-wicking, knit ribbed material that absorbs sweat and prevents that uncomfortable, sticky feeling during movement. I found the high-waist design and drawstring elastic waist to be incredibly forgiving, making them a reliable choice whether you are lounging at home or heading out for a casual day of errands. The fabric feels exceptionally soft and breathable, which is a massive upgrade over standard heavy denim. After weeks of use, these floral embroidered denim jeans have become my absolute favorite go-to for a relaxed, bohemian aesthetic. The combination of the loose, baggy fit and the intentional distressed ripping gives them a lived-in, vintage feel that works perfectly for casual outings. What really sets them apart from standard denim is the delicate floral embroidery, which adds a feminine touch to the rugged, destroyed look. They strike that difficult balance between being effortlessly cool and uniquely detailed.
