Best 36 Mens Volleyball Shorts in 2026

Your heavy leg day just got a lot more comfortable thanks to the reinforced stitching on these BROKIG shorts. I put these to the test during a high-intensity interval session, and the stretchy, lightweight fabric handled every squat and sprint without any fear of tearing at the crotch. The design is surprisingly thoughtful for the price point. The half-back elastic waistband keeps everything securely in place while you move, preventing that annoying sliding sensation during runs. I particularly appreciated the dual-pocket setup, which features a deep left pocket that keeps a phone steady and a hidden zippered right pocket for securing a wallet. Whether you are cycling or just hitting the gym, these offer a smooth, friction-free fit that feels skin-friendly throughout your entire workout.

Finding workout gear that balances a bodybuilding aesthetic with actual breathability is a constant struggle for lifters. These BROKIG shorts solve that by integrating woven side panels specifically designed to enhance ventilation and moisture wicking. During high-intensity sessions, the lightweight fabric prevents that heavy, sweat-soaked feeling, while the elastic waistband and exterior drawcord allow you to dial in a secure fit that won't shift during squats or sprints. I particularly like the storage layout. Having two seamed side pockets plus a dedicated back pocket means you can actually keep your essentials secure without them bouncing around. They strike a great balance between a close-fitting performance feel and the functional durability needed for heavy gym use.

Outdoor enthusiasts who demand high-performance gear without the premium price tag will find these MAGCOMSEN shorts to be a total game-changer for summer adventures. I was particularly impressed by the fabric blend, where the 95% polyester and 5% spandex combination provides a perfect balance of quick-drying capability and athletic resilience. Whether you are hitting a trail for a heavy hike or just running through a humid gym session, the breathable material keeps things feeling dry. The inclusion of both side and rear zippered pockets is a massive win for security, ensuring your essentials stay put during intense movement. Combined with a reliable elastic waistband and internal drawstring for a custom fit, these shorts are built to handle everything from mountaineering to casual travel with ease.

You might assume that a pair gym shorts won't hold up under heavy training, but the BROKIG mesh shorts prove that athletic aesthetics and durability can actually coexist. I was immediately struck by the body-accentuating seam work, which creates a sharp, sculpted silhouette that looks much more expensive than it is. The mesh fabric provides excellent breathability, making them a go-to for intense bodybuilding sessions or even just hiking. They feature a hidden zipper pocket that actually keeps your essentials secure, along with two additional pockets for convenience. Just a heads-up: these are designed with an athletic, snug fit through the thighs. If you aren't looking for that tight, performance-oriented feel and prefer something more relaxed for lounging, definitely size up.

Most vacation swimwear feels heavy and restrictive once it hits the water, but these graphic swim shorts prioritize a lightweight, quick-dry experience that keeps you comfortable from the beach to the boardwalk. I found the soft, stretch fabric to be a standout feature, providing enough mobility for active holiday fun without the bulk of traditional heavy materials. Since they feature an elastic waistband and no mesh lining, they offer a more streamlined, irritation-free fit that many people prefer over standard mesh-lined trunks. The funny graphic designs add a playful touch to your summer wardrobe, making them a great budget-friendly option for casual trips. Whether you are lounging poolside or catching waves, these shorts balance playful style with practical, fast-drying performance.

Most gym shorts force you to choose between mobility and storage, but the Soothfeel 7-inch shorts actually manage to balance both. I found the split hem design particularly effective for maintaining agility during high-intensity movements, providing just enough room through the glutes and thighs without feeling baggy. The standout feature for me is the pocket configuration. Having a dedicated deep zipper pocket means my phone and keys don't bounce around or slide out mid-run. The fabric is impressively lightweight and handles sweat well, drying quickly enough to transition from a heavy gym session to a casual hike. Plus, the adjustable drawstring allows you to tuck the cord inside the waistband if you prefer a cleaner, less bulky look.

Most athletic gear sacrifices utility for weight, but these Soothfeel shorts actually manage to pack essential storage into a featherlight frame. I was particularly impressed by the deep side zipper pocket, which provides a secure spot for a phone or keys that won't bounce around during a sprint. The 7-inch inseam hits that sweet spot for versatility, offering enough coverage for hiking or boxing while the split hem ensures your stride remains completely unrestricted. Whether you're sweating through a heavy gym session or just lounging, the quick-drying fabric and adjustable drawstring waistband make them feel custom-fitted. They bridge the gap between high-performance running gear and comfortable everyday lounge shorts without feeling bulky.

You are halfway through a grueling interval training session when you realize your phone isn't bouncing around in your pocket, thanks to the secure zipper storage on these Soothfeel shorts. The 7-inch inseam hits that perfect sweet spot between coverage and mobility, especially with the split hem design that prevents any fabric restriction during lateral movements like boxing or tennis. I found the lightweight, quick-drying fabric to be a lifesaver during high-intensity workouts, effectively wicking sweat away before it becomes heavy and uncomfortable. The wide elastic waistband offers a customizable fit via the drawstring, which you can even tuck inside to minimize bulk. Whether you are hitting the gym or heading out for a hike, these shorts feel versatile enough for almost any active pursuit.

You might hesitate to pull the trigger on a generic brand at this price point, but these black volleyball shorts are a surprisingly versatile addition to any gym bag. I found that the 8-inch length hits that sweet spot for athletic movement without feeling overly restrictive or too short during intense training sessions. The stretch fabric is the real hero here, providing enough flexibility for high-intensity volleyball drills or casual running without losing shape. Whether you are hitting the court for a match or just looking for comfortable, high-waisted workout gear for a heavy lifting day, these shorts handle the sweat and movement remarkably well. They offer a streamlined fit that feels much more premium than the low cost would suggest.

Finding outdoor gear that balances rugged utility with actual comfort can be a massive headache during summer treks. These Mhoxuto cargo shorts solve that by combining a relaxed fit with a lightweight, quick-dry fabric that won't weigh you down when the temperature rises. I found the elastic waistband particularly helpful for adjusting to movement, whether you are hiking a trail or just lounging around. The cotton-blend feel provides a soft touch against the skin, while the classic cargo pockets offer plenty of practical storage for your essentials. At a very accessible price point, they function as a versatile hybrid between athletic gym shorts and casual everyday wear, making them a solid staple for any active wardrobe.
