Nostalgia is often a luxury, but this tiny blue handheld makes it surprisingly accessible for under twenty dollars. While most modern tech focuses on hyper-realism, this device leans into the charm of the past with 400 non-repeating classics spanning sports, puzzles, and logic games. The 3-inch LCD screen is compact enough to slip into a jacket pocket, yet it remains sharp enough to pull you back into those childhood melodies. I found the inclusion of an additional controller particularly clever. You can connect the console to your TV via the AV output to turn a solitary handheld session into a competitive two-player experience. It is a slim, frosted-finish little powerhouse that prioritizes portability and shared fun over raw processing power.

The dual 2.4G wireless controllers feel surprisingly ergonomic in the hand, making those intense fighting and shooting sessions much more comfortable than old-school wired setups. This tiny plug-and-play box packs over 1700 titles into a single unit, covering everything from racing to classic puzzles. I was particularly impressed by the HDMI output, which delivers a crisp 4K HD signal that makes these old-school graphics look surprisingly lively on modern screens. The songlan X12 Plus offers a massive 7-inch HD display that makes most tiny handheld emulators feel like toys by comparison. While most budget consoles force you to squint at grainy screens, this device uses a 16:9 TFT color LCD with 800x480 resolution to bring classic titles to life. I was impressed by the 16GB of built-in memory, which provides plenty of room for the included library of over 10,000 games, though you’ll need to look inside the folders to find the full collection after the initial home screen games. It’s a versatile little powerhouse that doubles as a media player and can even connect to your TV for a full arcade experience. Just remember to hit the power button before the start button to get things running.

This tiny console is barely larger than a USB drive, yet it delivers 568 non-repetitive classic games directly to your TV via a crisp HDMI connection. I found the wireless controllers a massive upgrade for local multiplayer, as they remove the frustration of being tethered to the screen during intense racing or fighting matches.
