Best Oval Plant Hangers in 2026

After weeks of use, these Mkono macrame hangers have completely transformed my indoor jungle from a cluttered mess into a curated vertical garden. The 100% pure cotton cord feels incredibly sturdy and premium, lacking any of that artificial chemical smell you sometimes get with cheaper textiles. I love that the set includes three distinct lengths—23, 29, and 35 inches—which allows me to stagger my greenery across a bay window or a porch corner for a tiered, professional look. The woven design is flexible enough to cradle various pot shapes securely, and the bead accents add a sophisticated, vintage touch without the bulk of heavy tassels. It is a simple, effective way to maximize floor space while adding a soft, bohemian aesthetic to any room.

The Mkono Boho Metal Hanging Planter set brings an instant mid-century modern upgrade to any living space through its striking geometric gold frames. I found that the combination of the diamond and circle shapes creates a sophisticated visual rhythm that works beautifully whether you hang them in a sunlit kitchen or a cozy bedroom. The set is thoughtfully designed with both metal hangers and cotton ropes, providing a sturdy, durable feel that suits both indoor and outdoor decor. While the included plastic pots are convenient, the real versatility lies in the ability to swap them out for your own 6-inch terra cotta pots. Just be sure to measure your greenery beforehand, as the holders are specifically tailored for pots up to 6 inches in diameter and roughly 6 inches in height to ensure a perfect fit.

Cluttered surfaces and limited windowsill space often prevent plant lovers from truly expanding their indoor jungles. The E-Know Macrame Plant Hanger set solves this by utilizing vertical ceiling space to create a stunning, boho-inspired botanical display. These aren't your typical string hangers. Each set includes a sturdy, oiled wood tray with nearly an inch of side protection to keep your pots secure. I love that the artisan-made weave uses 100% pure cotton cord without any harsh chemicals, making them feel much more premium than mass-produced alternatives. Whether you are decorating a sunny corner or looking for a unique housewarming gift, these hanging shelves add a sophisticated, natural texture to any room while keeping your floor space completely clear.

Small apartments and cramped balconies often lack the floor space needed to truly enjoy a lush indoor garden. This Mkono two-piece set solves that spatial dilemma by utilizing vertical real estate with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. I found the variety in the set particularly clever. The shallow 8-inch pot is ideal for succulents that need light exposure, while the deeper 6-inch vessel provides the necessary soil volume for root development in ferns or ivy. The matte white glaze looks incredibly clean against any decor, and the included polyester ropes make hanging them from a ceiling or wall hook effortless. Plus, the built-in drainage holes prevent root rot, though they include rubber plugs if you prefer to keep the soil contained.

The LA JOLIE MUSE Hanging Planters deliver a stunning industrial aesthetic without the heavy lifting of traditional stone. These 13.2-inch spheres strike a perfect balance between style and utility, using a clever blend of recycled plastic and natural stone powder to mimic the look of heavy concrete while remaining incredibly lightweight. I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful drainage system. The four raised holes paired with a built-in water reservoir prevent the dreaded root rot often found in hanging pots. They feel built to last through harsh winters and intense sun, making them a reliable choice for year-round outdoor greenery.

Urban apartment dwellers with limited floor space need these Sinolodo metal hangers to instantly elevate their indoor jungle. The mid-century modern aesthetic is striking, featuring a matte, frosted black iron finish that feels much more premium than standard plastic alternatives. I particularly like the clever design choice of omitting drainage holes in the metal frame. It allows you to drop in a standard nursery pot with drainage, making plant swaps completely mess-free. Whether you are hanging succulents by a sunny window or displaying hydroponic greenery on a balcony, these oval holders provide a sophisticated, boho-chic touch. They are sturdy enough for outdoor use on a porch but look elegant enough for a professional office setting.

Whether you are decorating a sun-drenched patio or adding a touch of greenery to a bathroom, these weather-resistant pots handle sun and frost with ease, making them a versatile staple for any indoor or outdoor plant collection.

Most plant enthusiasts settle for cluttered windowsills and single-pot arrangements, but the Mkono Double Hanging Planter turns vertical space into a curated living gallery. I found the adjustable polyester rope incredibly practical. You can actually undo the internal knots to customize the distance between the pots. It feels substantial at 6 lbs, yet the integrated drainage holes ensure your succulents or herbs don't suffer from waterlogged soil. Whether you're hanging it from a ceiling hook or a wall mount, it adds a sophisticated, modern touch to a balcony or a sunlit living room without taking up precious floor space.

These 10-inch oval containers are crafted from high-grade galvanized metal, making them far more resilient to sun exposure and weather than standard plastic alternatives. I was particularly impressed by the triple powder coating and zinc treatment, which work alongside a lacquer finish to virtually eliminate leaks. Because they lack drainage holes, they function beautifully as rustic vases for indoor decor or as water-retaining holders for herbs. While you will need to assemble the iron bucket and hooks yourself upon arrival, the versatility of using them on railings, windows, or even tabletops makes them a highly adaptable addition to any patio.

I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful engineering of the shallow 9.5-inch ceramic pot, which features a pre-drilled drainage hole and a removable plug to prevent the messy spills often associated with indoor hanging greenery. The black ceramic is treated with a water-resilient sealant, ensuring the material stays durable while maintaining a natural, porous structure that plants crave. It is the ideal scale for cascading favorites like pothos or ivy, as well as trending succulents and cacti. This setup doesn't just hold a plant. It creates a curated, calming focal point that feels handcrafted rather than mass-produced.

These HemePaha geometric planters do exactly that by blending minimalist iron construction with a striking gold finish. I found the inseparable, integrated design particularly impressive because it feels much more stable and high-end than cheaper, modular alternatives. Since the metal pots lack drainage holes, they are perfect for hydroponic setups or simply nesting a standard plastic nursery pot inside to keep things mess-free. The 15.7-inch chains allow for elegant ceiling or wall placement, making them a versatile choice for adding vertical interest to a modern living space. Whether you are displaying succulents or trailing vines, these oval hangers provide a sturdy, sophisticated home for your greenery.
