Grade A1, the best grade available for a clear finish. Without defects for all woods except Aromatic Cedar. By nature of the wood, Aromatic Cedar does have knots.
Approx. 1/4 inch thickness MDF core with one side having the specified natural wood veneer. The reverse side may have the same species or a different but only one side is guaranteed of being the listed species. This is of the highest quality and although some wood species are grown internationally, the boards are produced domestically.
These boards offer more value compared to double sided veneers if only one side will show.

The rough size of the finished cutting board is 11 in x 18 inches. You will need wood glue and clamps (not included in the kit) to glue this variety bundle up.
The pre-cut boards included in this cutting board kit are Surfaced-2-Sides (S2S) with square edges. You can expect no splits, rotting or decay.
The lumber is not a finished thickness (hit or miss) and may still require you to flatten, plane, shape or sand your boards to fit your project.
