Best Greenlee Saws in 2026

You might wonder if a two-pound tool can actually handle real yard work, but this third-generation SOYUS mini chainsaw proves that compact design doesn't have to mean sacrificing power. I was particularly impressed by the upgraded safety features, specifically the new safety cover flip that keeps wood debris from splashing back at you. It hits a high 6000rpm, making it surprisingly easy to slice through branches up to 15cm in diameter with just one hand. The inclusion of two 21V lithium batteries is a game changer for runtime, offering about 50 minutes of continuous cutting. Whether you are trimming high branches or tackling DIY projects, the integrated LED light and adjustable speed trigger make it feel like a much more professional piece of equipment than its tiny footprint suggests.

Standing at the base of an overgrown oak, you suddenly realize that those stubborn, high-reaching branches are well out of arm's length and definitely not worth the hassle of dragging out a ladder. The SOYUS Cordless Pole Saw changes that dynamic by letting you reach heights of over 13 feet with ease. I found the 8-inch chain bar and the 5m/s chain speed to be surprisingly efficient for standard yard maintenance, especially when navigating tricky angles thanks to the three adjustable head settings. The automatic oiling system is a massive time-saver, keeping the cut smooth without constant manual intervention, while the tool-free tensioning makes adjustments a breeze. With the included 20V battery, you can tackle a decent amount of heavy 4x4 wood before needing a recharge, making it a reliable companion for seasonal pruning.

Most people assume a tool this small would struggle with anything thicker than a twig, but this SOYUS mini chainsaw punches far above its weight class. I was genuinely surprised when it sliced through a six-inch log in just ten seconds, driven by a motor that hits 5000rpm. At only 3lb with the batteries installed, it feels incredibly nimble for garden maintenance, yet the safety features like the guarded handle and the dual-action safety lock give you real peace of mind. You get two 2.0Ah batteries in the box, which provides up to 50 minutes of runtime, making it a much more capable companion for tree trimming than your average handheld gadget. It is a rare find that balances extreme portability with actual cutting power.

The immediate absence of the bone-shaking vibration typical of gas engines makes the SOYUS 40V chainsaw a genuine pleasure to handle during long afternoon sessions. This brushless beast delivers an impressive 8000 RPM, allowing you to slice through 14.5-inch logs with surprising ease. I was particularly impressed by the tool-free chain tensioning, which saves a massive amount of frustration when you're mid-project. The inclusion of two 4.0Ah batteries ensures you aren't constantly tethered to a charger, providing up to two hours of runtime. With the auto-lubrication system and a large 9.5oz oil tank, you can focus more on the wood and less on maintenance. It feels incredibly secure thanks to the dual-switch safety system and the responsive electronic chain brake.

The immediate lack of engine roar and exhaust fumes makes clearing a backyard of fallen limbs surprisingly peaceful. This SOYUS electric chainsaw delivers a punchy 15 Amp performance that bites through 4x4 pressure treated wood and limbs up to 34 inches in diameter without the hassle of mixing gas. I was particularly impressed by the 16m/s chain speed, which makes the 18-inch bar feel incredibly efficient for heavy log work. Weighing only 12 lbs, the ergonomic double handle prevents that heavy-duty fatigue you usually get with gas models. The tool-less tensioning system is a massive time-saver, and the integrated auto-oiler keeps the chain moving smoothly through tough cuts. It is a clean, quiet, and remarkably capable tool for any ranch or garden.
