These shears are perfect for tasks where sharp blades are required for precision cuts.

EASE OF USE: Due to plier like form factor there is more cutting leverage thus requiring less force than normal scissors. The tang on the handles is long for efficient force transfer. Handles made from PP and TPR over-molded for a comfortable non-slip grip. The handles are ergonomic and ambidextrous.

HIGH PERFORMANCE SHEARS – Designed specifically for cutting high-tensile strength (high modulus, high performance) fabrics easily with less applied force. They cut wide range of materials in single and multiple layers, knitted and non-knitted, stitched, and unidirectional/bi-axial/triaxial/quadraxial knits. It comes in two sizes 10 inch and 11 inch.

BLADE DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY – The blades are made of high carbon alloy steel from Japan, infused with Molybdenum and Vanadium for strength and hardened through a proprietary manufacturing process to HRC 60-62, HCV1200. One blade is micro-serrated to grip material for non-slip cut. The non-serrated blade can be sharpened to extend life.

USAGE MODEL – Shears to cut heavy duty materials such as thick fabrics, fiberglass, carbon fiber, nylon or polypropylene rope, canvas, leather, breather, upholstery, craft material, plastic and more. The sharp blades provide clean trims on single of multi-layer cutting material. The notch near the fulcrum allows cutting round material which high leverage (such as nylon or polypropylene rope).

CONSTRUCTION – These shears are ideal for cutting long swathes through layers of thick and heavy fabric. Made from high carbon Japanese steel the blades are hardened to HRC 50-54 Rockwell standards. The tang extends into the grip for efficient transfer of cutting power to the blades. One blade is micro-serrated to avoid slippage and the other can be sharpened to extend life. The bolted joint allows modification of blade tension for control over cutting different types of materials.

PERFORMANCE – The hardness and grinding renders sharp blade edge which delivers a clean cut – where straight, a trim or a rounding cut. These shears have been tested for several thousand cuts on soft materials. They also have been tried on 8-layers of 6-oz fiberglass for multiple cuts.
