Best Makita Shop Wet Dry Vacuums in 2026

Giraffe Tools solved the one thing that makes shop vacuums annoying: the hose. The Grandstorm mounts to your garage wall and its 30-foot retractable hose spools back neatly with a pull, no kinking, no wrestling a tangled coil off a hook. Suction is genuinely strong at 20 KPA, and the adjustable wand control lets you dial it down for delicate jobs or crank it for wet spills. With a 4.5-gallon tank, six attachments, and a remote that starts and stops the motor from across the bay, it's built for car detailing and quick cleanups without hauling anything out of storage. It's heavy at 60 pounds, so plan on a team lift for installation, but once it's up, you'll wonder why you ever used a portable.

The remote control on this YOWMOFT dust extractor is the feature you don't expect to care about — until you're mid-cut at the table saw and don't want to walk across the shop to flip a switch. A 1000W motor drives serious suction, and the HEPA filter plus 30L paper bag work together to keep dust out of the motor and off your lungs. It handles dry debris, spills, and even blowing leaves, so one machine covers most cleanup jobs. The 8-gallon tank means fewer trips to empty it, and the pile of included brushes, tubes, and wheels gets you set up right out of the box.

A remote-control handle on a shop vacuum sounds like a gimmick until you're crouched under a workbench with a hose full of sawdust. The Vacmaster wall-mount fixes exactly that — the on/off switch sits on the handle, so you never have to reach back for the canister. Hang it on the wall with the quick-release lever and it's off the floor and out of your way, yet you still get 41 feet of combined hose-and-cord reach. The 78 CFM airflow and 69-inch water lift motor pull in wet spills and dry debris without complaint, and five gallons is plenty for garage cleanup. If you want suction that lives where you actually need it, this is a smart pick — just be ready to hunt for stock.

The Hydroflex Pro Max answers a question every pet owner eventually asks: why am I sweeping, then vacuuming, then mopping the same square of kitchen floor? This thing does all three in one push. The 200W brushless motor pulls 30KPA of suction in MAX mode, enough to swallow scattered kibble and wet paw prints without hesitation, while ECO mode stretches the removable battery to a full 40 minutes for lighter daily runs. The dual-tank design keeps clean and dirty water completely separate, so you're never smearing yesterday's spill around. Best of all, drop it on the dock and the base scrubs and dries both rollers in 50 seconds. At 7.36 lbs, it glides around table legs easily.

Shop-Vac packs three machines into one here: a wet/dry vacuum, a sprayer, and an extractor that pulls shampoo back out of carpets and car seats. The 4.5 peak HP motor delivers legit suction — embedded dirt and spilled liquid both disappear without a second pass. What sold me is the remote-control spray handle: you squeeze the trigger to lay down solution, release, and vacuum it right back up without ever setting the wand down. The 5-gallon debris tank and 4.5L clean water tank mean fewer interruptions, and the 6-ft hose plus 10-ft cord let you cross a room without hunting for an outlet. The bottom drain empties dirty water with zero lifting, and five nozzles cover carpets, upholstery, crevices, and floors.

This Vacmaster mini 4 gal wet/dry vacuum is a little monster. The 125 air watts and 65 CFM airflow clear away sawdust, spilled cereal, and puddles with ease. There's no clogging, it just keeps chugging. And with 25 feet from the tip of the hose to the end of the cord, I'm not constantly hunting down power outlets while I'm cleaning. It's got 11 accessories to handle typical tasks: the 2-in-1 utility nozzle for getting into nooks and crannies, the multi-surface floor nozzle for cleaning hard floors and carpets, etc. All the accessories snap in place, so I'm not losing them between uses. It's a pretty handy grab-and-go vacuum for your garage, kitchen, and car interior. Just be prepared to dump the small tank more frequently for bigger projects.

Shop-Vac's 6-gallon wet/dry vacuum pairs a 4.0 peak HP motor with a blower function, so one machine handles sawdust, wood chips, spilled cereal, and standing water without swapping tools. The top carry handle and wall-mountable body make it genuinely easy to haul around the garage or hang out of the way when the job is done. What sets this bundle apart is the wireless remote outlet plug: clip the mount to your wrist, belt, or hose and you can cut power mid-cut without reaching for a switch. The remote is rated IP54, which means it shrugs off dust and the occasional splash indoors or out. Together they're a practical combo for woodworking and shop cleanup.

EGO Power+ built its 9-gallon wet/dry vacuum around the same 56V ARC Lithium batteries that power its mowers and trimmers, and that shared platform is what makes it worth a look. The brushless motor moves 110 CFM with 100 inches of lift, so wet spills, sawdust, and gravel get swallowed without the machine wheezing. Three power modes range from a 60-minute ECO setting to a 20-minute Turbo blast, switchable on the body or from the wireless remote. The hose, extensions, and nozzles all store onboard, and the filter-cleaning function keeps suction from fading mid-job. Just plan your budget: this is tool-only, so batteries and charger sell separately unless you already own the platform.

Hanging a wet/dry vac on the wall and zapping it on with a remote sounds like overkill until you actually try it. The Shop-Vac 5-Gallon wall-mount unit puts serious suction — 5.5 peak horsepower — right where you need it in the garage or shop, and the handheld remote means you're not walking back and forth to flip a switch every time you spot a spill. The 5-gallon tank is a sensible middle ground: big enough for real cleanup jobs, small enough that hauling it out to dump isn't a chore. If you've got a dedicated workbench or car-detailing spot, this is one of those setups that quietly makes the job less annoying. Just know it's currently out of stock, so you may be waiting a bit.

Shop-Vac's 12-gallon combo earns its keep the moment you switch the hose from wet pickups to a 145 CFM blower without hunting for a second tool. The stainless steel tank swallows a serious pile of debris, and the 6.0 peak HP motor pulls wood chips, dust, and standing water with equal confidence. What actually sold me is the bundled wireless remote outlet — clip it to your belt or strap it to the hose, and you can cut the power without walking back to the plug. That sounds minor until you're halfway up a ladder. The built-in drain empties liquids without tipping the canister, and the IP54 remote shrugs off dust and splashes. Just keep it out of standing water.

The Shop-Vac 5 Gallon 5.5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum earns its keep the moment you stop chasing a cord around the shop. It arrives bundled with a wireless remote outlet plug, so you can cut power from across the room instead of walking back to the wall — a small convenience that adds up fast on woodworking, lawn-care, or garage-cleanup days. Suction handles dust, wood chips, debris, and damp sewage without complaint, and the top handle makes hauling it around easy. The wall-mount bracket keeps it off the floor and out of the way, though the unit really does need to stay seated on that bracket while it runs so it doesn't tip. The IP54 remote plug shrugs off dust and splashes indoors or out.

Small enough to hang on a garage wall yet strong enough to swallow sawdust, spilled coffee, and workshop grime, this 1-gallon Shop-Vac pairs a compact 1.0 peak HP motor with a fold-down handle and included wall bracket and tool holder, so it stays out of the way until you need it. The real standout is the bundled wireless remote outlet, which lets you kill power from up to 100 feet away. Strap the remote to your wrist, belt, or hose and you're not walking back to the plug mid-cut. For quick cleanups in a car, basement, or shop, the whole setup earns its spot.

YOWMOFT 8 Gallon Dust Extractor addresses a common pain point with many shop vacuums: no need to physically go over to the vacuum to start it up. Instead, you've got the handy remote that lets you fire it up from anywhere in the shop. Sounds minor, but when you're caked in sawdust and barely avoiding being chopped up by a table saw, those little conveniences become huge. Dual HEPA filters to catch those pesky fine particles that other, less expensive vacs just blow right back into the air. 8 gallon bin for less frequent emptying. You get the remote control. You get the dual HEPA. Perfect for woodworkers and DIY folks looking to keep the air cleaner and life a little easier.

YOWMOFT Dust Extractor Y-Adapter is a wet dry shop vac for those who hate to carry just one hose for an entire jobsite. The star feature is the Y-adapter to split suction power to 2 tools/hoses instead of constantly having to switch. A good middle of the road dust extractor. Not a bottom of the barrel blower. Not a professional level beast of a vacuum. Only 7 left in stock so it must be going fast. If you think it'll work for your needs, grab one. It's a wet and dry shop vacuum. So great for shop vacuums in terms of versatility. Perfect for garage, workshop, and even cleanup of renovations.
