Best M Sports Fan Shorts in 2026

ChoiceApparel delivers a functional training staple that avoids the flimsy, pocketless feel of most budget gym shorts. These basketball shorts are built for actual movement, featuring a reliable inside lining that prevents chafing during intense drills. I specifically focused on the White version, which offers a clean, solid aesthetic paired with two practical side pockets for carrying essentials. The fit follows standard US sizing, making it easy to find your true size without the guesswork often found in athletic apparel. Whether you need the zippered side pocket option or the back pocket variant, the construction feels intentional rather than rushed. At a price point, they provide a professional level of utility for anyone serious about their court sessions.

The lightweight, breathable texture of the cotton-linen blend hits you immediately, making these pants feel like a breeze against the skin. These Eaktool plaid trousers are a masterclass in effortless styling, offering a relaxed, baggy silhouette that transitions from a casual beach cover-up to a more structured streetwear look. I love how the elastic waist and drawstring allow for a customized fit, especially in the XXL size, preventing that restrictive feeling often found in heavier denim. Whether you pair them with boots and a jacket for an edgy vibe or keep it simple with sandals for a summer outing, the wide-leg cut provides incredible movement. They are a versatile staple for anyone needing comfortable, high-waisted options that don't sacrifice aesthetic appeal.

Can a single pair of shorts actually survive a grueling outdoor excursion while remaining comfortable enough for a casual afternoon? These WENKOMG1 tactical shorts aim to bridge that gap by combining a rugged ripstop construction with a flexible, multi-pocket design that feels purpose-built for movement. I found the waterproof material to be a standout feature for unpredictable weather, ensuring you stay dry during sudden summer showers. Whether you are navigating a hiking trail, playing a game of rugby, or just looking for a reliable pair of active joggers for basketball, the knee-length cut provides a solid balance of coverage and airflow. They feel less like standard leisure wear and more like serious gear designed for high-intensity sports and military-style utility.

Packing for a weekend hiking trip becomes much easier when you have versatile gear that won't weigh you down. These cargo shorts feature a breathable cotton linen blend that feels incredibly lightweight against the skin, making them a solid choice for everything from casual beach days to active outdoor pursuits like cycling or fishing. The construction feels durable with quality sewing that suggests they can handle repeated wear and rugged environments. While the relaxed fit and elastic waist provide much-needed comfort for all-day movement, you definitely need to keep the sizing in mind. I found that ordering two to three sizes up is essential to avoid a fit that is too tight, but once you find the right scale, they serve as a reliable staple for any casual wardrobe.

The modern woman seeking a blend of effortless boho style and cooling comfort needs these TOPUNDER wide leg shorts in her summer rotation immediately. I found the oversized, loose fit to be a total game-changer for staying breezy during high-heat afternoons or relaxed beach outings. The fabric feels incredibly soft against the skin, and the expandable waist ensures you aren't restricted whether you are lounging or moving through a busy day. These aren't your typical tight athletic shorts. Instead, they offer a sophisticated, flowy silhouette that transitions easily from a casual morning jog to a stylish afternoon brunch. The split design adds a touch of flair that makes them feel much more elevated than standard loungewear.

These RTTUIOP retro training shorts offer a versatile utility aesthetic that bridges the gap between rugged outdoor gear and casual summer streetwear. After testing the straight-leg fit, it is clear these are designed for guys who need functional pockets without sacrificing a clean, solid silhouette. The regular fit provides enough room for movement, making them a reliable choice whether you are heading out for a light hike or just running errands in the heat. While they lean heavily into that classic cargo look, the black finish keeps them looking sharp enough for more than just heavy-duty construction work. At this price point, they serve as an incredibly practical addition to a summer wardrobe, especially if you prioritize having extra storage on the go.

You are halfway through a heavy gym session or a long afternoon at the beach when you realize your gear needs to breathe. These cargo-style basketball shorts are built for exactly that kind of transition, blending the rugged utility of cargo pockets with the soft, lightweight feel of a cotton-hemp blend. The drawstring waist provides a reliable, adjustable fit that stays secure whether you are hitting the court or just relaxing in a casual setting. While the actual silhouette might shift slightly depending on your specific body proportions and limb length, the relaxed fit offers plenty of room for movement. They function as a versatile staple that bridges the gap between dedicated athletic training wear and everyday casual streetwear.

Walking along a sun-drenched boardwalk with a cold drink in hand feels effortless in these breezy, tiered ruffle shorts. The lightweight, quick-dry fabric is a total lifesaver when you are transitioning from a poolside lounge to a casual seaside lunch. I was particularly impressed by the functional design. The wide elastic waistband and drawstring ensure a comfortable fit, while the four pockets—two on the sides and two in the back—actually hold a phone and keys without feeling bulky. They strike that rare balance between being cute and elegant enough for a vacation dinner, yet relaxed enough for a morning jog or running errands. Whether you pair them with a simple tank or a cozy sweatshirt, these shorts handle the summer heat with ease.
