Best Carpet Stick Vacuums & Electric Brooms in 2026

The Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Elite Cordless Upright Vacuum delivers a massive 50% boost in suction power that fundamentally changes how you handle pet hair and deep carpet debris. Weighing in at under 10lbs, this lightweight stick vacuum feels incredibly agile when you are navigating around furniture or carrying it up a flight of stairs. I was particularly impressed by the Tangle Guard technology, which effectively prevents hair from wrapping around the brush roll, saving you the headache of manual cleaning. The 15 Cyclone Technology keeps suction consistent by capturing 99.4% of dust, while the 4Ah battery provides a solid 35 minutes of fade-free runtime to power through your cleaning routine without interruption.

Apartment dwellers and busy parents need the Hoover ONEPWR Blade+ if they are tired of wrestling with heavy uprights and tangled cords. This lightweight stick vacuum changes the game with its dual cyclonic dustvault technology, which manages to trap 99% of fine particles without losing suction midway through a session. I found the cordless freedom incredibly liberating, especially since the removable ONEPWR battery means you aren't tethered to a wall while tackling stairs or car interiors. It transitions smoothly from hard floors to carpets thanks to the multi-surface brush roll, and the included crevice and upholstery tools make it a legitimate all-in-one cleaning solution. Emptying the dirt cup is a breeze since it detaches completely, making the post-clean cleanup just as fast as the vacuuming itself.

Most people settle for loud, clunky vacuums that lose suction halfway through a room, but the Hoover ONEPWR Emerge changes that dynamic entirely. During my testing, the HUSHTONE system stood out by providing a much quieter cleaning experience without sacrificing the raw power needed for deep cleans. It handles pet hair and embedded dirt on carpets with ease, while the dual cyclonic separation ensures you aren't losing suction as the bin fills. I found the transition to handheld mode incredibly smooth for tackling stairs and upholstery, making it a truly versatile tool for the whole home. With a 4Ah battery offering up to 45 minutes of runtime, you can actually finish your chores without constantly hunting for a charger.

The Hoover DustChaser Handheld Vacuum Cleaner packs a surprising punch with its massive increase in suction power. Weighing in at under three pounds, this lightweight unit is incredibly easy to maneuver around car seats and upholstery without causing wrist fatigue. I found the dual-stage HEPA filtration particularly impressive, as it effectively captures 99.97% of pet dander and fine particles down to 0.3 microns. The included 2-in-1 crevice tool and upholstery tool make it simple to reach those annoying gaps in the sofa or tight corners in the vehicle. With the included ONEPWR 2.0 Ah battery, you get long-lasting performance that handles tough messes without being tethered to a wall outlet.

The Hoover ONEPWR Blade Max redefines cordless cleaning with its incredibly high-performance brushless motor. During my testing, the suction felt remarkably consistent, thanks to the dual cyclonic DustVault technology that manages to trap 99.4% of dust without losing power mid-clean. It is quite literally Hoover's most powerful cordless option, and that strength is backed by a substantial 45 minutes of continuous runtime in handheld or Boost mode. The kit is impressively complete right out of the box, providing a 4.0 Ah Max battery, a fast charger, and essential attachments like a crevice tool and dusting brush. It makes tackling hard floors feel less like a chore and more like a quick, efficient sweep.

Apartment dwellers and busy parents will find the Hoover Impulse to be an absolute lifesaver for managing daily debris without the hassle of a heavy cord. Weighing in at under 6 lbs, this vacuum is incredibly easy to whip out for a quick cleanup on hard floors or area rugs. The swivel steering makes navigating around chair legs and tight furniture corners feel effortless, while the removable handheld unit is perfect for grabbing crumbs off the sofa or reaching into those awkward crevices. You get reliable, fade-free lithium power that lasts through your cleaning sessions, and when the 0.4-liter dirt cup is full, emptying it is as simple as pushing a single button. It is a streamlined, no-nonsense tool for anyone who values speed and agility.

You might wonder if a single machine can actually replace your mop and bucket, but the Hoover Streamline makes a compelling case for simplifying your cleaning routine. I found that the ability to wash and vacuum simultaneously saves a massive amount of time on hard floors. It doesn't just glide over the center of the room. The edge cleaning feature actually reaches under cabinets and against baseboards for a thorough finish. When I hit a particularly nasty, dried-on spill, the one-touch Boost Mode provided the extra power needed to lift it without much struggle. Plus, the self-cleaning system takes the headache out of maintenance, ensuring the machine stays fresh for the next round of housework.
