Best Philtop Storage in 2026

Most gamers assume a protective case actually makes their handheld device feel bulkier and more awkward, but the Mumba BladePro series flips that script with its aggressive ergonomic handles. I found that the textured grip actually makes long gaming sessions much more comfortable than the standard bare console. The standout feature is definitely the snap-on front cover. It acts as a dust shield while tucked away four game cards, which is a lifesaver for portability. Built from a mix of shock-absorbent TPU and scratch-resistant PC, it feels incredibly rugged against daily drops. You can even swap the front cover to the back if you want to change the tactile feel, making this a surprisingly versatile piece of kit for your Switch Lite.

You are halfway through an intense boss battle on a long flight when your hands start cramping from the standard Switch grip. The Mumba Battle Series solves this exact fatigue issue with its heavy-duty, ergonomic handles that feature comfortable padding for long-haul gaming sessions. This red protective cover utilizes a dual-material construction, combining shock-absorbent TPU with scratch-resistant PC to shield your console from accidental drops and dust. I particularly like how the design allows you to slide the Joy-Con controllers out for quick adjustments without having to strip the entire case off. While the bulkier profile means you can't slide it directly into the dock, the built-in kickstand and precision cut-outs make it a rugged, highly functional companion for handheld play.

The Mumba Blade Series is a game-changer for Nintendo Switch OLED owners who refuse to choose between rugged protection and docking convenience. Unlike many bulky shells that force you to strip your console every time you want to charge, this TPU and PC hybrid slides into the dock perfectly. I was particularly impressed by the upgraded softer bottom design, which specifically addresses heat dissipation concerns around the OLED's unique vent placement. The ergonomic handles make long gaming sessions much more comfortable by adding a substantial, secure grip that feels natural in your hands. You can even slide the Joy-Cons out for local multiplayer without wrestling with the entire housing, making it a highly practical addition to your setup.

Most protective console cases turn your handheld into a bulky brick that refuses to sit properly in its charging cradle, but the Mumba Blade Series actually solves that headache. I was surprised to find that I could slide the entire setup into the dock without stripping the armor off first. The blend of shock-absorbent TPU and scratch-resistant PC material feels incredibly rugged, yet the ergonomic handles make long gaming sessions much more comfortable than the standard slab design. It is specifically tailored for the original Nintendo Switch, offering precise cut-outs so you never lose access to your ports. Plus, the ability to detach individual Joy-Cons without wrestling with the entire shell is a massive quality-of-life win for multiplayer sessions.
