Best Unlocked Apple Iphones in 2026

Apple's iPhone 12 still earns its reputation as one of the most balanced phones ever made. This renewed 64GB model in black arrived looking genuinely clean — the minor cosmetic wear sits far enough away that you won't notice it holding the phone normally. It's fully unlocked, so I swapped between carriers without a hiccup, and the full diagnostic check means it performs like new with no trace of the previous owner. Battery health was guaranteed at 80% or better, which is the honest trade-off here. Heavy users may want a top-up midday. No headphones or SIM card in the box, and the charging cable is generic, but at this price that's an easy trade.

Budget-conscious students and secondary device seekers will find this renewed iPhone XS to be an absolute steal for the price. While it is a refurbished unit, the rigorous diagnostic testing ensures you aren't getting a lemon. Every device is guaranteed to function like new with a battery capacity of at least 80%. I was particularly impressed by the unlocked versatility, as it slides right into any GSM or CDMA network without a headache. You won't find headphones or a SIM card in the box, but the inclusion of an MFi-certified charger makes the setup process much smoother. The cosmetic condition is also surprisingly tight, with only minimal wear that disappears the moment you hold it in your hand.

Budget-conscious power users who refuse to compromise on premium hardware need this refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max immediately. This Graphite model offers a massive amount of utility by providing an unlocked experience that plays nicely with almost any GSM or CDMA carrier, from T-Mobile to Mint Mobile. While you won't find headphones or a SIM card in the box, the inclusion of an Mfi-certified charger and cable makes the setup process seamless. I particularly appreciate the transparency regarding the battery health. Knowing it is guaranteed to maintain at least 80% capacity provides a level of confidence that is often missing with renewed tech. It is a smart way to snag flagship performance without the flagship price tag.

Apple's iPhone SE 3rd Gen proves you don't need a flagship to get flagship-level speed. Behind its familiar 4.7-inch Retina HD display sits the A15 Bionic chip, and it shows the moment you start swiping — apps open instantly, 5G pages load fast, and the 12MP Wide camera punches well above its class with Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Portrait mode, and 4K video at up to 60 fps. Touch ID on the home button is still genuinely handy, especially with gloves or a mask on. The compact, IP67 water-resistant body is easy to use one-handed, and up to 15 hours of video playback gets you through a normal day. At this renewed price, it's a smart buy.

The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max redefines mobile productivity with its massive 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display and ProMotion technology. Testing this device feels like holding a professional studio in your hand, especially when you dive into the Cinematic mode for those perfectly focused video shots. The A15 Bionic chip ensures everything from high-end gaming to ProRes video editing remains lightning-fast and fluid. I was particularly impressed by the battery endurance, which offers up to 28 hours of video playback, making it a true marathon runner for heavy users. Between the advanced LiDAR scanner for macro photography and the rugged Ceramic Shield build, this phone is a powerhouse designed to handle intense daily workloads and creative pursuits without breaking a sweat.

The Super Retina XDR display feels incredibly fluid under your thumb thanks to the ProMotion technology, making every swipe feel instantaneous. This Silver iPhone 13 Pro is a powerhouse for mobile creators, especially with the new Cinematic mode that handles focus shifts automatically for that professional movie look. Whether you are shooting macro photography or using the LiDAR scanner for precision, the triple 12MP camera system delivers massive versatility. The A15 Bionic chip keeps everything running without a stutter, even when you are editing ProRes video or jumping between heavy apps. Plus, with 512GB of storage and up to 22 hours of video playback, you won't be constantly hunting for a charger or deleting old files to make room for more 4K Dolby Vision footage.

After weeks of use, the sheer speed of the A15 Bionic chip remains the most impressive aspect of this device. Whether I am jumping between heavy apps or capturing content, the performance feels incredibly fluid. The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display makes every photo pop, but the real magic happens in the video department. Using Cinematic mode to add a shallow depth of field makes my casual clips look like professional movies, automatically shifting focus just like a real filmmaker would. Between the durable Ceramic Shield and the IP68 water resistance, I rarely find myself worrying about accidental drops or spills. It is a reliable, high-performance powerhouse that handles 5G connectivity and long video playback sessions without breaking a sweat.
