Caturra is a natural mutation of Bourbon and is the benchmark Central American coffee from which all others are measured in the region. Well-known for its rich sweetness and gentle profile, it is a well-balanced, smooth coffee. Its sweetness is complimented by a distinctive citrus acidity and pleasant cacao notes.

Natural Process: Our coffee is grown under a naturally shaded environment in the heights of the scenic mountains of El Salvador, harvested by hand, fully washed with an eco-friendly process, naturally dried in the fresh air and bright sun, hand-sorted for imperfections, and stored in a controlled environment to preserve freshness.

Zero Waste: Our coffee is processed with the ecofriendly “zero waste” system which reuses every single byproduct of the process. The water used in our coffee processing is treated in a bioreactor to be reused for irrigation, avoiding local river contamination. The coffee pulp is used for quality compost that is applied in our local farm.
