Best Paulownia Wood Vases in 2026

Most people assume a vase is just a vessel for water, but this Gunlar piece functions more like a standalone sculpture. The hollowed-out donut design breaks away from traditional silhouettes, offering a geometric aesthetic that feels much more intentional than a standard cylinder. Crafted from high-quality Class A ceramic with a smooth, glazed finish, the bronze-toned surface provides a sophisticated, artistic weight to any surface it sits on. You can lean into the minimalism by letting it sit empty on a bookshelf as a modern accent, or you can soften those clean lines with fresh or dried florals. Whether it is anchoring a dining table or brightening up a home office, its ability to bridge the gap between functional pottery and contemporary art is truly impressive.

Why settle for standard cylindrical vessels when you can transform your tabletop with sculptural geometry? The Gunlar ceramic set breaks away from the monotony of traditional decor through a striking donut-shaped hollow design that allows you to see through the center of your floral arrangements. These aren't just containers. They are artistic centerpieces that play with light and shadow thanks to a high-shine finish that shifts as you move around the room. Because they are handmade, you get a level of exquisite detail and smooth texture that mass-produced items often lack. The set includes two graduated sizes—one at 11.8 inches and another at 9.3 inches—making them a versatile duo for living rooms or office desks. Just keep in mind the narrow bottleneck design is specifically tailored for delicate, small-scale stems rather than heavy bouquets.

Gunlar’s white ceramic hollow vase set brings a sophisticated, sculptural edge to modern home decor that elevates any tabletop instantly. These aren't your standard cylindrical vessels. The unique donut-shaped design allows light to pass through the center, creating a romantic, airy aesthetic that makes floral arrangements feel part of the architecture. Handcrafted with a smooth, lustrous finish, the ceramic catches the light beautifully as you move around the room. You get two distinct sizes—one standing at nearly 12 inches and a shorter companion at 9.3 inches—making them perfect for tiered styling in a living room or office. Just keep in mind that the narrow neck diameters are specifically tailored for delicate, small-scale stems rather than heavy bouquets, ensuring the minimalist look remains intentional and elegant.

Stale, uninspired surfaces in a living room often demand a quick stylistic fix to breathe life back into the space. This Gunlar ceramic set solves that problem by offering a cohesive, three-piece arrangement that instantly elevates a mantel or bookshelf. The white glazed finish draws inspiration from traditional Chinese porcelain, but the addition of rustic rope detailing pulls it firmly into a modern farmhouse aesthetic. I found that these vases are incredibly versatile. They hold fresh stems just as beautifully as dried botanicals or faux arrangements. Whether you are staging a wedding centerpiece or simply trying to brighten up an entryway, the durable ceramic construction ensures these pieces remain a staple of your home decor for years to come.

Light catches the thick, transparent walls of this Gunlar vase in a way that immediately elevates a simple tabletop. I was impressed by the weight of the glass. The thickened base provides a level of stability that prevents the tipping often seen with lighter, cheaper alternatives. While you might spot the occasional tiny air bubble—which is a standard characteristic of the manufacturing process—the smooth edges and high clarity make it look much more expensive than its price tag. It handles fresh stems beautifully, but I also found it works perfectly as a standalone piece filled with sand or decorative glitter. Whether you are styling a wedding centerpiece or just brightening up a home office, its sleek, timeless silhouette fits almost any decor aesthetic.
