After weeks of use, the sheer scale of the Pimax Vision 5K Super makes standard VR headsets feel like looking through a narrow tube. The 200-degree diagonal field of view is a massive game-changer, effectively eliminating the binocular effect and letting you spot enemies in your peripheral vision before they can slip away. Combined with dual 5K resolution panels, the screen door effect is virtually non-existent, providing a level of immersion that is hard to match. The inclusion of a capacitive action button is a clever touch, making it much easier to interact with apps without fumbling. Between the Google Cardboard compatibility and the massive library of over 2,000 apps via the Homido Center, this red headset is a surprisingly robust entry point into virtual reality gaming and education.
