Best Abeier in 2026

You might assume a budget-friendly set like this would sacrifice pigment density, but the HIMI Gouache Set actually delivers a surprisingly professional experience. The standout feature is the unique jelly cup design, which keeps the paint thick, creamy, and remarkably easy to rework with water even after it has dried. I found the 24 vibrant colors to have excellent coverage on both canvas and watercolor paper, providing that sought-after matte finish without looking chalky. It is a complete, all-in-one kit that includes three brushes and a palette, making it incredibly easy to toss into a bag for outdoor sketching. Whether you are a student or a seasoned artist, the rich pigmentation and portable carrying case make this a highly reliable choice for any creative kit.

Artists often struggle to find a professional-grade color palette that doesn't break the bank or require constant color-matching guesswork. This 80-color ABEIER set solves that headache with color-named caps that make grabbing the right shade instant and effortless. I was particularly impressed by the dual-tip versatility. The fine bullet tip handles intricate manga details, while the chisel tip is a beast for filling large areas. The alcohol-based ink dries quickly and stays vibrant without that overwhelming chemical smell common in cheaper sets. Even better, the included colorless blender pen allows for smooth transitions that make shading feel natural rather than forced. Whether you are working on fashion illustrations or adult coloring books, the durable carrying case keeps this entire vibrant collection organized and ready to go.

The HIMI Gouache Paint Set redefines convenience with its clever jelly cup design that keeps pigments creamy and ready for use. I was immediately struck by how thick and opaque these colors are, providing a beautiful matte finish that works seamlessly on both canvas and watercolor paper. The eighteen vibrant shades mix beautifully, making it easy to transition from basic color blocking to complex layering. Because the paint can be rewet with water even after drying, you have incredible flexibility during your creative process. It is a professional-feeling kit that remains safe and non-toxic for students and hobbyists alike.

The 0.7mm fine point tips are incredibly precise, making them perfect for intricate detailing on everything from wood to glass. I found that once you give them a vigorous shake—at least 20 times to get that ink flowing—the color payoff is stunningly vibrant across all twelve shades, including the deep cypress green and dark gold. The water-based ink dries quickly and stays put, which is a huge relief when working on scrapbooks or fabric. It is a reliable, non-toxic toolkit for anyone looking to add some much-needed sparkle to their DIY projects.

Daniel Smith has redefined professional color palettes with Lunar Blue, a moody watercolor that is an absolute essential for any landscape artist. This isn't just another dark pigment. It features a sophisticated granulating lunar black that floats over a deep phthalo undertone, creating a texture that feels like the actual fabric of a night sky. I found that it behaves beautifully across different washes, acting as an inky midnight shade when concentrated or a diffused, semi-transparent veil when diluted. It leaves behind a subtle, atmospheric shadow rather than a heavy stain, making it perfect for capturing moonlit water or celestial gradients. Because it is formulated with high lightfastness and adheres to ASTM D4236 standards, you can trust that these ethereal nocturnal tones will remain vibrant on your paper for years to come.

Most artists assume a single green tube can handle an entire landscape, but the versatility of Daniel Smith's Hooker's Green is what actually makes that possible. It stays remarkably easy to work with due to its low to medium-staining properties, giving you more control over your washes. Whether you are mixing forest light or experimenting with adding India ink for depth, this 15ml tube offers a professional-grade reliability that fits perfectly into a serious studio kit.

It is a dependable, high-performance color for any serious artist's toolkit.
