Preschoolers struggling to grasp the concept of time will find a lifeline in this Melissa & Doug magnetic calendar. Instead of abstract concepts, kids get a tactile way to interact with the days, weather, and even their own emotions through 80 colorful magnets. I love the clever design of the two fabric hinged dry erase boards. One acts as your main template while the other serves as a dedicated storage space to keep those tiny magnets from disappearing under the couch. It turns a morning routine into a social event, prompting kids to talk about upcoming holidays or special events. It is a brilliant, hands-on tool for building early communication skills and daily structure.

RED EMBER Baby Animals 2023 Hangable Monthly Wall Calendar | 12" x 24" Open | Thick & Sturdy Paper | Giftable | Kids Adorable Animals
- ADORABLE ANIMALS – Our Baby Animals 2023 Wall Calendar will capture your heart, month after month. Each month’s layout features a close-up of nature’s cutest babies, from furry felines to cuddly bear cubs. The full-color photos are printed on high-quality paper, and the oversized boxes give you plenty of space for organizing your schedule. This adorable collection will bring a smile to your face every day.
- LIFE, BEAUTIFULLY ORGANIZED – Better photos, better organization. We handpicked our stunning images from only the best photographers in the world. Red Ember calendars simply look beautiful on any wall. STURDY & DURABLE - You know it's a Red Ember calendar because it lasts! Unlike other cheap, thin calendars, Red Ember calendars do not curl up, rip out and fall off your wall. Display it beautifully in your home or office, all year long!
- CLUTTER FREE- You have more writing space, because we use just one language, English. We don’t include obscure non-U.S./Canadian holidays, which frees up even more space. Oversized daily blocks (1.5” x 1.85”) give you extra room for jotting down tasks and appointments. Includes all major U.S. and Canadian holidays, and moon phases. Size Closed: 12 x 12 inches. Size Open: 12 x 24 inches.
- BONUS 14-MONTH LAYOUT – Includes a 2-page full calendar layout for November & December 2022 (no images), in addition to 12 months of 2023. Pre-punched holes make it easy to hang your calendar sturdily on any hook, nail or thumbtack. And because we use heavy-duty paper, it won’t rip out!
- PERFECT GIFT – Makes a great gift for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, or “just because.” A calendar is ideal for that hard-to-buy-for person, a great last-minute or surprise gift. You will be thanked all year long for this thoughtful present. HUGE SELECTION – We have over 240 unique calendars to choose from. Nature, travel, outer space, cats, dogs, cute animals, spirituality, organization and fine art are just some of the many categories in our Amazon store.

Standard wall calendars often suffer from flimsy paper that curls or tiny, cramped boxes that make actual scheduling impossible. The RED EMBER Baby Animals calendar solves this by combining high-end photography with a much more functional, heavy-duty design. I was particularly impressed by the oversized 1.5” x 1.85” daily blocks, which provide genuine breathing room for your appointments without the clutter of unnecessary international holidays. The photography is stunning, featuring professional close-ups of adorable cubs and kittens that actually look premium on your wall. Because the paper is thick and sturdy, you won't deal with the annoying ripping or drooping common in cheaper alternatives. It even includes a 14-month layout starting in late 2022, making it a seamless transition into the new year.
What We Like
Thick, sturdy paper
Oversized daily blocks
Professional animal photography
