The Artistic Monticello Executive Desk Pad does quiet, unglamorous work better than almost anything else on a desk. The black leather-like surface has a soft, non-glare finish that makes pen and pencil glide, while the grey side panels are the clever part — they lift up into little storage flaps for business cards and memos you want within reach. At a quarter-inch thick and 24 by 19 inches, it swallows spills, scratches, and coffee rings before they reach the desktop underneath.
