The distinct texture of dual riffle pans makes a world of difference when you are swirling sediment to catch those tiny flakes. This ASR Outdoor kit is a comprehensive starter setup that eliminates the guesswork of gathering individual tools before heading to a claim site. You get three different pan sizes—8, 10, and 14 inches—along with stackable ABS plastic classifier screens that sit perfectly atop a five-gallon bucket to manage large deposits. I found the inclusion of specialized extras like the 5lb magnetic pick-up tool for black sand separation, magnifying tweezers, and glass vials to be incredibly thoughtful. Just remember to wash the pans with soap and water first to remove any factory oils so they are ready for your first wash.

Losing tiny fragments of gold flake or precious liquid samples during transport is a frustrating headache that every field researcher or prospector has faced. This 12-piece set from ASR Outdoor solves that problem by providing a reliable, high-quality storage solution for your most minute finds. The kit is smartly organized with two distinct sizes, including six 3/4 dram vials and six 1 dram vials, which allows you to categorize your samples by volume. I was particularly impressed by the screw-on caps. They create a genuine water-tight seal that prevents leaks even if you're tossing them into a rugged gear bag. Whether you are securing gold nuggets, essential oils, or fine powders, the durable glass construction and quality-controlled manufacturing ensure your contents stay exactly where they belong.

After weeks of use in a high-traffic kitchen, these ASR Outdoor cutting mats have become my go-to solution for protecting countertops without the bulk of traditional boards. At just 0.5mm thick, the polypropylene material is incredibly thin yet stays remarkably resilient against cracking or chipping. I love that they are BPA-free and non-porous, which makes preventing cross-contamination during meal prep much easier. Because they are so flexible, I can roll them up for storage or even use them as refrigerator liners and craft mats. They handle the dishwasher perfectly, so cleaning up after a heavy prep session is completely hassle-free. They are a versatile, lightweight essential that keeps my knives sharp and my surfaces safe.

Most prospectors settle for flat-bottomed pans that wash away fine gold, but the ASR Outdoor Dual Riffle Pan changes the recovery math entirely. By utilizing both deep and shallow side-wall riffles, this tool mimics the efficiency of a professional sluice box right in your hands. I found the high-impact ABS plastic to be impressively rugged yet lightweight enough to float, which is a lifesaver if you drop it in a stream. The dual-riffle design is the real star here, as it traps everything from large nuggets to the tiniest alluvial specks that usually slip through standard equipment. Just remember to wash off the factory production oils before your first trip to the river to ensure everything runs smoothly.

At just 8 ounces, it is an incredibly slim profile solution for cold-weather camping without the bulk of traditional inflatable pads. The EVA closed-cell foam is remarkably resilient against moisture, UV rays, and oils, making it a rugged companion for rough terrain like rocks or logs. I found the integrated thermal reflective layer to be a game-changer for heat retention, especially when paired with a fleece liner. It unrolls in seconds and rolls back up easily thanks to the forgiving elastic straps, which means you don't have to fight to get it tight enough to fit on your pack. At just .03 inches in diameter, this cord is exceptionally thin, making it a stealthy choice for perimeter trip wire alarms or lightweight survival kits. Don't let the slim profile fool you, though. It is braided from three strands of Kevlar and holds a 200lb breaking strength. I found the polyurethane coating to be a massive plus for outdoor use, as it provides much-needed resistance against UV rays, corrosion, and abrasion. Whether you are packing a bug-out bag or working on a specific hobby project, the fact that it is made in the USA and built to withstand flame and weather makes it a reliable addition to any EDC setup.

The detachable and retractable design of the fork and spoon makes it incredibly easy to stow away, while the included nylon pouch keeps everything organized and protected. Because it uses durable stainless steel and sturdy plastic, you get a reliable, reusable alternative to flimsy disposable cutlery that won't weigh you down on a long trek.

The tactile click of the internal gears engaging is the first thing you notice when you grip this tiny powerhouse. At just four inches long, the ASR Outdoor emergency flashlight is deceptively potent, delivering 15 lumens of brightness through three encased LEDs. Because it utilizes a squeeze-action dynamo mechanism, you never have to worry about dead batteries during a sudden power outage or a wilderness trek. I found the see-through casing particularly fascinating, as it turns a simple survival tool into a mechanical demonstration of energy conversion. Whether you stash it in a glove box or a kitchen drawer, this ultra-compact light provides reliable illumination exactly when you need it most, complete with a handy nylon wrist strap for secure handling.
