Lifestyle Visions quartz cuvettes are made out of clear rich purity quartz materials to adapt to the needs of a variety of spectrophotometer laboratory studies. The cuvettes are acid and alkali resistant. Each quartz cuvette holds 3,500 of microliters. The cuvettes are Type 1 with two sides frosted and two sides polish. The heat resistant are able to withstand high temperature up to 600 ℃.  

These cuvettes have a standard 12.5 mm square outside dimension and a 10 mm light path through the sample. The es quartz cuvettes transmittance of light is above 83%. The Cuvette design allows the light beam to come through the front window and exit the back window of the cuvettes.

They are produced from either optical polystyrene or UV grade PMMA and include optical windows for optimum transmittance through spectrum range from 340 to 800nm for the optical polystyrene and from 280-800nm for the UV Grade PMMA

These cuvettes are engineered for high reproducibility and offer variations within the range of ±1% absorption; This is vital when batch analysis is being undertaken

Our fused quartz cuvettes are fused together by molecular forces at ultrahigh temperature without the use of any kinds of adhesives.

Acid, base, organic solvent-resistant. No leakage is found for these cuvettes containing hydrochloric acid, anhydrous ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, and benzene for at least 24 hours. Special attention needs to be made to chloroform, as the chloroform slowly etches the quartz surface by nature. 


The operating spectral range is 190-2500 nm for the maximum light transmittance and the operating temperature as high as 600°C / 1,112°F for these JGS1 optical quartz materials.
