Best Bucklos in 2026

Budget-conscious mountain bikers looking to simplify their drivetrain should look no further than this BUCKLOS single-speed setup. I found that the 170mm crank arm provides a solid, lightweight feel at just 550g, making it a practical choice for those moving away from complex multi-speed systems. The standout feature is definitely the narrow-wide tooth design on the multicolor plating chainring, which does a fantastic job of keeping your chain seated even on bumpy trails. It is important to remember that this is strictly a single-speed solution compatible with standard square taper bottom brackets, so don't try to force it into a multi-gear build. For under thirty dollars, getting the crank, chainring, and mounting bolts in one package is a massive win for DIY mechanics.

Is your current cockpit forcing you into an uncomfortable, strained riding position? Upgrading your control center with the BUCKLOS aluminum alloy handlebar series can fundamentally change how your bike handles different terrains. I was particularly impressed by the DB forming technology, which intelligently varies the tube wall thickness to keep the weight down without sacrificing strength where you need it most. You can choose between a flat bar for a low center of gravity during technical climbs or a riser bar to gain a more ergonomic, upright posture for long-distance comfort. With multiple length and diameter options, it is a versatile piece of kit that balances lightweight performance with reliable durability for any mountain biker looking to fine-tune their setup.

After weeks of testing this setup on rugged single-speed trails, the lightweight efficiency of the BUCKLOS crankset really stands out. At just 550g, the 170mm arm feels incredibly responsive during climbs, and the 104 BCD design makes it a versatile choice for those looking to upgrade their Shimano, SRAM, or FSA drivetrains. I was particularly impressed by the snail-style narrow-wide chainring. The alternating tooth thickness provides a secure grip that prevents chain drops without adding unnecessary bulk. Whether you opt for the round or oval profile, the 4mm thickness feels robust enough for daily mountain biking. It is a straightforward, budget-friendly kit that includes everything you need to get spinning, from the bolts to the ring itself.

Most riders assume a heavier handlebar equals more strength, but the BUCKLOS aluminum alloy bars actually use physics to do the opposite. By utilizing DB forming technology, these bars feature a thinner middle tube to shed weight while thickening the ends where the most stress occurs. I found that having the choice between a low-center-of-gravity flat bar for aggressive climbing and a riser bar for long-distance comfort makes a massive difference in how your body feels after a few hours in the saddle. The 20mm or 25mm lift on the riser models really helps optimize your ergonomic posture, reducing that dreaded wrist strain. Whether you need the 660mm, 720mm, or 780mm width, these provide a reliable, lightweight upgrade for any mountain bike setup.

Can a budget-friendly upgrade actually transform your single-speed riding experience? The BUCKLOS 170mm crankset aims to answer that by offering a surprisingly lightweight 609g setup that doesn't skimp on durability. I was particularly impressed by the narrow-wide tooth design on the chainring. With alternating 1.9mm and 3.7mm thicknesses, it provides the kind of chain retention you usually expect from much more expensive components. Whether you are building a custom commuter, an e-bike, or a dedicated mountain bike, the 104 BCD compatibility makes it a versatile choice for Shimano, SRAM, or FSA drivetrains. It arrives as a complete kit with the crank, chainring, and bolts, making the installation process straightforward for anyone looking to refresh their single-speed setup without breaking the bank.

These dual-piston line pulling calipers provide serious stopping power, making them a smart choice for everything from heavy e-bikes to agile mountain bikes. What really impressed me is the noise control. The resin and copper fiber pad composition ensures quiet operation without that annoying high-pitched squeal. You can even fine-tune the brake feel using the elastic adjustment screw to get that perfect tension. Just a pro tip for the installation: keep that yellow pad in place until you are ready to go, or you risk leaking oil or damaging the disc. It is a solid, stable way to revitalize your current braking system.

The sudden, silent bite of these calipers provides a level of control that mechanical systems simply cannot match. Upgrading from a standard mechanical setup to the BUCKLOS HB-100 transforms your braking experience, offering much smoother stopping power for mountain bikes or e-bikes. I found the dual-piston design remarkably effective, and because the pads utilize a resin and copper fiber blend, the dreaded high-pitched squeal is virtually non-existent. You can even fine-tune the brake feel using the elastic adjustment screw to get that perfect tension. Just a quick heads-up for installers: keep that yellow pad in place until you are ready to go, or you risk leaking oil or damaging the disc. It is a solid, budget-friendly way to bring hydraulic precision to your XC or trail rides.

BUCKLOS has engineered this mountain bike wheelset to handle the rigors of trail riding while keeping maintenance simple through a removable spline body. I found the inclusion of a dedicated rim strip particularly thoughtful, as it adds a vital layer of protection for your inner tubes against spoke punctures. Setting them up is a breeze thanks to the included quick-release levers for both the front and rear wheels. The kit arrives pre-bled with mineral oil, meaning you can skip the messy setup process and move straight to installation.
