Serious pastry enthusiasts who are tired of fighting shrinking, bubbling, or buckling dough need these ceramic weights in their kitchen immediately. I tested these stoneware beads for blind baking, and they are a total game-changer for achieving that perfectly flat, professional base required for banana cream or lemon meringue pies. Unlike improvised methods, these individual beads allow you to arrange them precisely to distribute heat evenly across the crust. They are made from food-safe ceramic that handles up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit without a hitch. The set even comes with a handy storage container to keep your beads organized after a quick hand wash. Whether you are working with homemade or frozen dough, these weights ensure your crust stays structurally sound during the bake.
