Best Drumdots in 2026

Most drummers assume that controlling unwanted over-ring requires sacrificing the soul of their drum's natural strike tone. Drumdots completely flip that logic on its head by offering surgical precision rather than blunt force muting. These little gels are incredibly versatile. You can stick them on vertical heads or even upside down without worrying about them sliding off mid-set. Unlike cheaper alternatives, they won't melt under hot stage lights or leave a sticky mess on your expensive heads. I was particularly impressed by how easy they are to maintain. If they pick up dust during a session, a quick rub with baby oil followed by a soap and water wash brings them back to brand-new condition. It is easy to see why this set earned a NAMM U Best in Show Award.
