The A5 size daily “Hobonichi Techo Cousin” is now available in English! This English edition Cousin techo was created in response to requests from our growing international customer base. The book layout is the same as the Japanese edition, as it also contains a page per day, a yearly calendar, monthly calendar, yearly index, and the handy weekly diary where you can view a week at a glance to track your upcoming schedule.

The page design features 3.7mm graph paper, which is sized to accommodate writing in plans or entries, or drawing charts or pictures. Similar to the Japanese edition, the English edition Cousin has each month printed in a different color. Each daily page spread includes one quote at the bottom of the page that has been pulled from the Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun website and translated into English.

Although you can use the book on its own, you can pair it with a cover of your choice from our large selection of convenient A5 size Hobonichi Techo covers. If you’d like to use an English Hobonichi Techo in a smaller A6 size, we recommend the Hobonichi Techo Planner, which is the international edition of the techo that has been entirely translated into English.

The bag was born from Satoh’s idea to have something that can protect the A6 size Hobonichi Techo when carried around inside another bag. Similar to the TS Hobonichi Techo cover series, this bag also contains Satoh’s initials.

The TS Techo Bag can snugly fit an A6 size Hobonichi Techo book, even if it’s in a standard, Zippers, or trifold techo cover. The bag protects your techo from damage if jostling around your backpack or handbag.

minä perhonen creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs. anemone is a continuous pattern that lines up illustrations of flowers in a way that resembles a geometric pattern. There is lace at the four corners of each flower in this light textile. The design seems to depict a field of blooming anemones swaying in the wind. The cover interior is a warm off-white.
