Best Imaginext in 2026

The Imaginext DC Super Friends Advent Calendar turns the December countdown into a month-long superhero adventure that keeps preschoolers genuinely engaged. Instead of just finding chocolate, kids unwrap a curated collection of 24 surprises that build toward a complete play set by Christmas morning. The variety is impressive, moving beyond simple figurines to include eight poseable characters, a push-along vehicle, and even a projectile launcher. It is rare to find a seasonal toy that offers this much longevity, as the accessories and figures transition seamlessly from daily surprises into a permanent toy box for imaginative storytelling. For parents of kids aged three to eight, this set provides a structured way to build excitement while delivering high-quality, action-packed play pieces that actually last.

Picture a living room floor transformed into a high-stakes battleground where Lex Luthor finally dons his high-tech armor to challenge the Justice League. This Imaginext figure is a standout addition for any young collector building a DC Super Friends universe. The 2.5-inch scale is perfect for small hands, and the ability to move the arms and legs makes posing him for dramatic storytelling much more intuitive. It comes with a specialized accessory that adds immediate depth to playtime, and because it is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Imaginext playsets, the expansion possibilities are endless. It is a sturdy, engaging piece of character gear that hits the sweet spot for imaginative play in the 3 to 8 age range.

Small scale doesn't mean small impact when you're holding this Shazam mini figure. Most collectors assume tiny figures lack detail, but this 2021 Imaginext release manages to pack a surprising amount of character personality into a compact 2.75-inch frame. It feels substantial enough for small hands to manipulate during superhero play sessions without being so massive that it disrupts a tabletop setup. Since this is part of a larger series, the real fun lies in the hunt to assemble the full roster. While you'll need to track down the other five figures separately to complete the set, this individual piece serves as a sturdy, high-quality entry point for any DC Super Friends enthusiast looking to expand their miniature Justice League.

After weeks of intense superhero battles, a missing Batman or Ra's al Ghul figure can completely stall the fun of the Ooze Pit playset. This replacement set is a lifesaver for parents trying to restore a complete play experience without buying an entirely new kit. Because these are genuine Imaginext parts, the Batman and Ra's al Ghul figures fit the set perfectly, and the included swords match the original aesthetic flawlessly. It is a relief to find a solution that maintains the integrity of the original DC Super Friends toy through precise, model-specific components.

A high-stakes battle in the Batcave suddenly grinds to a halt when you realize the hero or villain has gone missing from the playset. This specific figure set is a lifesaver for parents dealing with the inevitable disappearance of small toy components. By providing a genuine Batman and Joker duo, these authentic replacement parts restore the full storytelling potential of the Imaginext DC Superfriends Transforming Batcave. Instead of letting a large, expensive playset sit idle due to missing characters, these figures bring the action back to life immediately.

The Imaginext Ocean Boat Figures set delivers an immediate boost to any maritime-themed playset by providing three essential characters right out of the gate. These Fisher Price figures are built for the rigors of active play, and I particularly like that the set includes three matching life vests to keep the crew safe during pretend sea rescues. While these aren't arriving in a traditional retail box—they come packaged in a simple manufacturer's plastic bag—the value is undeniable for anyone looking to expand their Imaginext collection. At just under twenty dollars, you get a cohesive little crew that adds instant life and storytelling potential to existing ocean boat toys.

After weeks of intense playtime, those missing projectiles can quickly turn a high-tech Batbot into a stationary paperweight. This genuine replacement bag is a lifesaver for parents trying to keep the superhero action going without buying an entirely new set. Because these are authentic manufacturer parts, the four blue projectile discs fit the transforming Batbot perfectly, ensuring the firing mechanism works exactly as intended. They arrive in a sealed plastic bag, just as you would receive them from the factory, which gives you confidence in their original quality. While the colors might vary slightly, the shape and fit are spot-on for this specific model, making it an essential kit for restoring full functionality to your DC Super Friends collection.

After weeks of watching a Power Rangers Battle Pack go through intense play sessions, losing a key villain can completely derail the fun. This genuine Lord Zedd replacement figure is the specific fix needed to restore the lineup for the DRY12 model. It arrives in a sealed plastic bag exactly as it comes from the manufacturer, ensuring you get an authentic piece rather than a knockoff. The fit and shape are perfect, slotting right into the existing set without any compatibility headaches. Instead of having to buy an entirely new battle pack just to replace one character, this targeted solution brings the iconic villain back to the fray for a fair price.

Can a doll accessory set actually bridge the gap between high-end decor and imaginative play? The Clawdeen Wolf bedroom proves it can by delivering a surprisingly detailed werewolf den that feels much more substantial than your average playset. I was particularly struck by the gold-tone bed, which features a crescent moon cut-out and a cozy faux-fur blanket that adds a tactile, premium feel. The level of interactivity is impressive, ranging from a mini fridge that actually opens to a tiered desk loaded with tiny accessories like a laptop and books. Even better, the included sticker sheet lets kids act as interior designers to customize their spooky-cute space. It is a comprehensive, storytelling-driven set that brings a specific, stylish aesthetic to any Monster High collection.

Toddlers often struggle with oversized toys that make imaginative role-play difficult, but this Bluey family set solves that scale issue perfectly. This collection brings the entire Heeler household to life, including Bluey, Bingo, Chilli, and Bandit. Since each figure is fully poseable, kids can recreate their favorite show moments with realistic movement rather than being stuck with static statues. It is a straightforward, engaging way to bring the magic of the cartoon into a physical play space without the bulk of larger playsets.

It is a simple, engaging way to merge cinematic magic with developmental growth.

Parents of toddlers who crave tactile, story-driven play need the Fisher-Price Little People Noah's Ark in their toy rotation immediately. This playset turns a classic tale into a hands-on experience, featuring nine chunky figures including Noah, elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes that are perfectly scaled for tiny hands to grasp. I found the design incredibly practical for real-world living. The Ark’s deck pops off so kids can play inside the boat, then snaps right back on to tuck all the animals away for easy storage. It is a brilliant way to build fine motor skills while encouraging imaginative role-play. Whether they are reenacting the big flood or just moving animals around, the sturdy construction makes it a reliable staple for preschool-aged kids.

Can a single toy set truly capture the lightning-in-a-bottle magic of a cinematic masterpiece? This Playmobil DeLorean kit attempts to do exactly that, and it succeeds by leaning heavily into the nostalgia of the 1985 era. Between the adorable puppy companion and the massive array of travel essentials—like a tiny camera, neck pillow, and even a miniature toothbrush—there is a surprising amount of tactile fun here. It is a thoughtfully curated kit that moves beyond just a doll, offering a complete narrative experience for any young explorer.

Brightly colored cakes and cookies practically leap off the tray of this interactive tea party set. It is much more than a simple pretend kitchen. The inclusion of Paxton, Peaches the dog, and a functional bike that actually moves when you push it makes the roleplay feel incredibly dynamic. It is a remarkably dense kit for the price, offering eleven accessories that turn a simple dollhouse into a fully realized miniature world for little ones aged four and up.

It bridges the gap between high-energy vehicle play and the focused, imaginative storytelling found in pretend play sets. You can push it along to start a journey, then flip open the top to reveal a full outdoor dining area for the included chef and customer figures. The sensory experience is surprisingly interactive. Pressing the taco tray or the driver’s seat triggers catchy songs, sounds, and phrases that keep toddlers engaged. It is a clever way to encourage social role-play while satisfying that developmental urge to move things from point A to point B.

Translucent wing sections glow with bright light the moment you hit the transformation button. Chaos is actually the primary design goal of the Mr. Potato Head Silly Suitcase. While most toys demand a specific sequence of assembly, this set thrives on the absurdity of mixing and mashing thirty-five different pieces to create bizarre characters. It transforms a potentially messy pile of small parts into a portable kit that makes cleanup instant and travel much easier. It is a rare example of a toy that encourages total creative freedom while simultaneously solving the headache of lost accessories.
